Then, it goes to a 3rd party ranking metric that doesn’t give any validation for the end decision and no information on how they came up with their tie breaker ranking. Not a playoff ranking or AP or S&P, etc

But good point on the margin against common opponents. The sloppiness the last 2 games makes that not seem realistic but that’s a good perspective
