Why does our kids absolutely QUIT?!? EVERY YEAR?!?!?! They trotted out Malik ***kg Rosier.....
Lmao. All I see are weak *** gif posts. No one can refute what I have proffered. It is what it is. You call me crazy because you want to still have hope. Awwwwe. Cute. But this is the real world, running strongly off of the love of money. Why do we have so many kids that transfer out, quit, leave? Because not every kid is stupid. Not every kid’s parent/handler/high school coach is stupid. They see that we are not trying to win big.
Not essentially, it IS big business....and common sense tells me that we are being paid to suck so that these high profile kids won’t want to come here. And those in the fence, get paid to leave at the ninth hour (ever notice how those uncommitted-***-even committed-kids that have visited like..100 times and are obviously into Miami almost ALWAYS NEVER COME HERE?!?!?!) that’s because these kids are straight getting paid to tilt their azzez to the other side of the fence. These schools are under no threat of NCAA sanctions, yet we say stupid **** like “we can’t take (insert available awesome coach that could be had relatively cheap) because he did (insert “heinous” crime here). Meanwhile, we continue to suck and those “untouchable” go on to become gainfully employed and not a word is said as they produce. WAKE THE *** UP!!!!!!data could probably be put together that would support the idea that players from winning college programs are drafted by NFL teams in higher rounds and thus make more money. the big dogs will eat first and will eat more.
Fact --- football is essentially a business and what matters most is the bottom line.
You are a ******* geniusWe lucked up and won those games last year.....straight lucked up. We were in a dogfight with EVERYONE We played-including Fcs teams!!!!! We all knew that Malik was straight gahbage...yet richt trots him out this year, rather than letting Nkosi get off. Oh, and btw, richt has ruined that poor kid with this school’s bullsh1t *** agenda. But I’m crazy? Right? Lol
since you didnt respond to what i wrote other than to quibble semantics ... we aren't going to have a dialogue and you're just going to stay on a soapbox . sorry you didn't get that i was promoting the idea that what you wrote deserved to at least be fairly considered. so i guess we are done hereNot essentially, it IS big business....and common sense tells me that we are being paid to suck so that these high profile kids won’t want to come here. Lol, it wasn’t an ad hominem attack, my guy. I accentuated your concurring the sentiment. I don’t need people to necessarily “agree” with me, as there will ALWAYS be those that argue the world is flat, but rather promote an environment whereby someone, anyone in the face of what I proffered is man enough, brave enough, honest enough to tell me that they, too have opined this. I cannot (statistically) be the only one who sees this complete bullsh1t.since you didnt respond to what i wrote other than to quibble semantics ... we aren't going to have a dialogue and you're just going to stay on a soapbox . sorry you didn't get that i was promoting the idea that what you wrote deserved to at least be fairly considered. so i guess we are done here
i was not endorsing what you wrote. i said it was a brilliant metaphor and very creative and merited careful consideration.Lol, it wasn’t an ad hominem attack, my guy. I sincerely believe that the University of Miami is and has been receiving monies/kickbacks by the NCAA and powers that be (SEC) to mire our program in mediocrity. Yeah, yeah, yeah-I wear a tin foil hat, but guys-it’s a simple case of follow the money.
The NCAA is like any other business. The better your product across the board, the better the yield. And the best “ingredients” one can put in the various dishes being served up every Thursday and Saturday are found in Florida, specifically south Florida. Following the “recipe” is quite simple- put the best ingredients that are indigenous to your “restaurant’s” geographic location and then add the imported “southfloridiannegro” spice and it takes an otherwise “solid” dish and makes it “must eat tv”. Yes. There’s a lot of terrible puns and analogies, but you get my point.
There was once a restaurant that served the absolute FINEST meals. Didn’t matter the chef, the meals were exquisite because the “southfloridanegro” spice that all chefs clamour to cook with, were indigenous to that restaurant’s geographic locale. But there was a problem with this restaurant. Not with the meals or service, but the “National Restaurant Association”, the governing body for all such restaurants, decided to make such special eatery into a regional restaurant chain (Southern Eatery Corp.).
Now, this special restaurant that had always served these fabulous meals with these special ingredients naturally had a stranglehold on said special ingredients. Seldom did this restaurant allow too much of this special ingredient to escape its clutches and flavor other meals at other restaurants. So the “National Restaurant Association” , in an attempt to get it’s hands on these ingredients at the clip needed to make it’s plan of making a chain of restaurants that would largely serve an otherwise mediocre meal, save for the all-important sprinkling of the “southfloridanegro” spice, was to attempt to shut down the original restaurant. They tried to force the restaurant to shut down, citing various code violations as the reason. When that didn’t work, they took EVERY opportunity to dirty up the restaurant’s name by promulgating the idea that this restaurant was somehow inferior to those in its own regional chain and spreaded salacious rumors (they have inferior facilities/roaches/rats, etc.). The National Restaurant Association was aided by and largely achieved this smear campaign via its strange bedfellow media entity-Eatery Specialists Proving Nothing.
The public perception of the restaurant was in such poor condition, the restaurant, in an attempt to salvage both its declining reputation and overall business, brokered a deal with the National Restaurant Association wherby the original restaurant would be payed a certain amount of money to stay relevant and in return, the restaurant must serve a watered down product by severely limiting its use of the special spice and continually staffing horrible staffs. Also, said restaurant must remain silent and turn a blind eye to the exodus of what made its meals so special. Sadly, that original restaurant currently serves meals akin to a really nice McDonald’s that periodically adds a new playground, menu box or additional parking-all made possible via “private “ donors.
Meanwhile, the National Restaurant Association’s restaurant chain (SEC) is thriving. And the south Florida growers of this spice are being paid substantially more than what they had been, so they readily sell their product to the highest bidder. Win, win, win. The only losers in this pathetic attempt at rationalizing what we have seen over the past 15 years are those fans of the old restaurant who still remember how good those meals used to be. We are ***ked, boys. This school has sold us all out....
AdderALLofitThat was ALL the adderall.
Dude, I like where you're going with this.
It does explain the last fifteen years.
Do you have any hard facts? Like the money trail.
Did shalala set this up? She is good friends with the Clintons......Hmmm
@DuvalcoCane
I've been on record for a decade now stating my belief that Donna Shalala intentionally tried to prevent UM football from being an elite program as part of her deal with the ACC. I can say for certain that she told Al Golden in no uncertain terms to recruit away from Miami.
Why would the ACC want Miami to do bad? Us winning NY6 bowls and winning Nattys brings them in a lot more money. They easily could have refused to let us in when the conference expanded.
Man you're seriously wasting your time trying to reason with these overgrown mitches on this board. Ed Reed recently admitted that there's a conspiracy against UM.Oh, and fck you soft shouldered faquits who Struggle to reciprocate cogent thought. And you wonder why this administration think us to be collectively “thick”. Idiots....
