HOT TAKE: WR Lawrence Cager will be the next to transfer

Waiting for you to say you are being funny here or being sarcastic because this **** aint funny..if this is some kind of inside joke then fine.

I associate Hennessey with black people and whites who emulate black culture. Sorry not sorry.

LOL. Said the guy who starts threads about **** nobody gives a ***** about. So we **** sure dont give a ***** about what you think black people drink. Stick to your HOT TAKES and POWER RANKINGS and leave the comedy act to Franchise.

If you don't give a **** about what I think black people drink then why am I talking to you right now?

**** Rok... You think all black ppl drink hennessey?

Only so long a racist can pretend. Glad I know that about him now. So now I know how to play him. And he is back-peddling in his post above.

Jassid, you seem like a good guy. Sorry if I was out of line.

I'll stick to the hot takes and power rankings and call it a day.

This thread was worth every penny of CIS subscription. Can't wait for the power rankings next

HOT TAKE: Cager will be the 2nd most productive WR this season and get drafted higher than Stacy Coley

I agree he will be productive but he's not leaving after this year unless he has about 900 yards. And with the way teams will play Richards, he possibly could have a big year.

This is indeed a HOT TAKE.

His one advantage is his size. If he can prove that he's able to use size to his advantage then he'll be in business.

The greater likelihood IMO is that he'll be just a guy among a bevy of other talented kids who are just as good.

All that crank talk is played out, but I'd just like to comment on how **** Larry Cager is. I hope the homophobes on here don't get all sick over this, but Cager is a really good looking physically impressive dude. Typically, really good looking people like him tend to succeed at whatever they do. So there's that going in his favor.

Just make sure we all stick to our own Hennessey and there won't be any problems...

This is a far more accurate statement. Most of the players he is competing with are more athletically gifted. That's tough to overcome unless he excels at other WR characteristics. And if if that were true, it still wouldn't makes a difference if the competition also excels at those characteristics. He is tall. That's not enough.

Here's hoping Doormatt and Linder xter. But unfortunately for us the pee wee leagues said they don't need anymore turnstiles on their practice squads.

Richards, Mullins, Harris, Dallas, Thomas, Harley, Njoku is quite a WR haul through two cycles.

Cager will get lost in the wash and transfer after the 2017 season.

Hope he proves me wrong.

let's go canes!!
From what I hear ... he is killing it during these summer workouts...

Cager was heralded by "The Most famous Cane Walk-on" as a guy who was competing for a starting spot last year.

Mullins has shown nothing at this program yet. Don't know why people are ready to crown that kid yet until he gets some college weight and learns the route tree. All the Freshman have some learning to do.

I don't see how he gets 900 yards, or even close. For one, 1,000 yard receivers are a rarity for us. Cager looks to be the third option at best, behind Richards and Herndon. And it's not like the coaches won't be trying to get Thomas the ball. Whether it's Rosier or Perry, we won't be slinging the ball all over the yard. It's not Richt's style, and he's not going to take the risk. Frankly, I wouldn't be shocked if Richards struggled to get that number.

Cager hasn't shown anything at this program either. And that's the point. Until someone separates themself the only sure things on offense are Richards, Walton, Herndon. I think everyone is going to play including Njoku, Burns, Polendey. It's possible that the only redshirt on O is Weldon imo.

Barring injury, he'll be starting on the outside looking in

fify

You just criticized down-voters for having no retort, but this was a legit response and you follow it inanely...?

Why would you pick Cager to transfer before Langham or Harris when he's a superior athlete to both by far, there's no depth chart, and he hasn't had the opportunity to compete since his injury? Also, who would give him a scholly when he hasn't been cleared for full contact? A little premature don't you think?

The reasons I think it could be Cager instead of Langham or Harris:

1) Harris was brought here by Richt/Dugans

2) decent chance Langham gets a look at TE imo

3) the entire premise of my original post is that we now have so many options that someone's bound to get lost in the shuffle. With that in mind, I'll go with the guy who's coming off an injury and who was challenged by Richt repeatedly the last time he was practicing. Cager appears to be a likeable guy, so I don't think it'll be a doghouse thing. But I could see him looking around at Richards, Thomas, Dallas, Harley, Mullins after 2017 and asking "where do I fit in here"?

He's every bit as big and more talented than Langham for time at TE. Harris is a grad-transfer for depth that wasn't recruited and wouldn't have been, whereas Cager shunned saban for Miami.
