Where ever the coach feels comfortable, they both work we have seen.. No big deal
 
The way my non coaching self sees it.
I don’t care wether the oc or dc is in the booth or not. But IMO there absolutely has to be someone up there.
If I’m not mistaken all the big dogs have someone up there. No way there isn’t an advantage to have a pair or multiple pairs of eyes up there.
Have we actually had anyone in the booth? I think there have been a few people say that manny had no one on the defensive side of the ball in the booth and either did Enos or Lashlee.
Maybe someone can correct me.

Calling plays from the booth depends on the coordinator. With all the ways to communicate with players on the sideline these days, it shouldn’t be a problem imo.

Since he is not the QB coach I honestly don't think it matters. Whatever he is comfortable with and feels it gives him the best environment. Having both roles though is a different story. Sometimes you need a QB whisperer on the sideline.
