This right here. It makes sense when you have a QB you trust. With an experienced QB I don’t see a problem with it.

Spoken like a true CiS Cane.Al for it, until he goes 3 and out the first time.
Then I’m like WTF.
I heard Mario will be in the box too for the same reason. Hopefully but 2025 those guys will be acclimated.Y'all are overthinking this.....he just came from Ann Arbor, he needs the AC, he can't be in that south Florida heat after that climate!
If I'm not mistaken, he was in the box for the spring game. This usually the sort of news that launches a thousand rounds of fury and debate, yet today it’s been crickets.
Why are y’all so chill? Did you already know he was doing it?
He did last year and won the Broyles..
LSU had the most dominant offense ever with their OCs in the box, so the ceiling is up there. Enos was on the sideline with unlaminated play cards in the rain. This is my hot take rationalization. This usually the sort of news that launches a thousand rounds of fury and debate, yet today it’s been crickets.

Booth at home, field when away, I don't trust away teams tapping into the phone lines.
Only two reactions to his post. This is absurd for such an amazing post.I can’t stop laughing at “tapping into the phone lines.”
This is quintessential Fraggle.
I think we have a winner! Johnny, give that man a prize! He wants a better vantage seeing all 5 TEs and 3 running backs crisscrossing each other out on the field.
All jokes aside? Is this a real topic or joking around? Surely no one can possibly give a **** about this right? lmaoThis usually the sort of news that launches a thousand rounds of fury and debate, yet today it’s been crickets.

I think he should call it from the sideline first half and the box second half. Mix it up
Some coaches are just more in their element from the sideline and value that face to face interaction with the players more.
Steele is going to be on the sidelines. Obviously other successful DCs have done it that way too. Diaz being an obvious one. It’s just one of those personal preference things.
He wants a good seat. This usually the sort of news that launches a thousand rounds of fury and debate, yet today it’s been crickets.
