“UK caught UF Flatfooted. Both of those teams can play”

Dying Laughing Lol GIF by Desus & Mero

Rebuttal: "More likely FU caught Tennessee flat-footed, and if not for that FU may not win a game in the SEC all season."

Gators are NOT firing Billy this season. The powers that be will encourage him to replace some members of his staff.

That loser will be leading the Gator against us to kickoff the 2024 campaign. We will beat them down in The Swamp, destroying any and all hope those scumbags have for the season. We will kickoff a year of solid *** whoopings for the Gator. Check out this gauntlet of a schedule:

They can easily lose 9-10 games next season.

Yes. In a desperate attempt to find something positive to say...he is bragging that the Gator DL "actually held their own and often controlled the line of scrimmage". He then goes on to put the blame on the linebackers and secondary.

Bull****.

I don't care if "GNFP" selectively picked a few good DL plays to make Gator fans feel better.

KENTUCKY ROLLED UP 329 RUSHING YARDS FOR 9.1 YARDS PER CARRY. Davis alone had 280 yards for 10.8 yards per carry.

And you know who has the first chance to tackle the running back? THE DEFENSIVE LINE. If the DL does its job, you don't even have to worry about the linebackers or secondary making tackles.

But, yeah, a Vanderbilt transfer almost sets the ALL-TIME Kentucky rushing record, and you're out here yapping about how the Gator DL "often controlled the line of scrimmage" and that Kentucky "did not push us around".

Nonsense. Florida's defense got bullied all night.

Clearly, AlleyGator is Austin Armstrong...

Yeah, this is clear Gaytor delusion. You don't get rolled for over 300 yards on the ground while your DL controlled the LOS. Uh...what???

There are 3 or 4 billion examples as to why this isn't true, but here's one that comes right to mind - in the early aughts, Pete Carroll's SC teams had a dominant D and they definitely had talent across the squad, but the dominance was centered around their DT's. Those guys made everything possible on D. The back 7 needs to do its job, but your DL doesn't control the LOS and then you get gashed for over 300 on the ground. SMH...

You can’t assume that the gator would be Elko’s only opportunity. You told us we’re out of our minds if we think Elko wouldn’t take the gator job but we don’t think that’ll be his only option and I don’t think either aTm or UiF opens up this year.
I mean Michigan State is literally open right now. No way they don't interview him

The Gators 2024 schedule really has them in a bind. No "up and comer" is going to sign on for what looks like a 3-5 win season next year, nor is an established P5 coach going to want to have to endure a first year where they get their asses handed to them by all of the schools they recruit against.

Billy will survive this year, the only real question is: do they finish the 2024 campaign with Napier or an interim head coach?
