Where are they getting Richardson being a first round pick?
What am I missing here?
Brad Kaaya was predicted by experts as a first rounder. We see how that worked out.
From the same source that they used when Franks was a shoe-in for the Heisman.Where are they getting Richardson being a first round pick?

I believe Emery Jones was also considered a first round draft pick by that sourceFrom the same source that they used when Franks was a shoe-in for the Heisman.

And he didn't flinch even a **** inch. That guy has nerves of steel. That’s one of the most badass things I’ve seen a human do.
Exactly. Kaaya was a two year starter when the draft hype started. Richardson has like 70 career pass attemptsAt least Brad Kaaya HAD SOME MOTHERFVCKIN' STATS before they projected him as a first-rounder.
Richardson is "predicted" as a first-rounder based on potential and cocaine being a helluva drug.

…and I’m surprised that his balls fit in his underwear. And he didn't flinch even a **** inch. That guy has nerves of steel.
Through all the ridiculousness of Richardson being a first round pick i missed that completelyLOL Franks and Pierce being starters....
Yeah; but he only threw 5 interceptions! LOLExactly. Kaaya was a two year starter when the draft hype started. Richardson has like 70 career pass attempts
It’s actually 6 career interceptions in 66 career attempts. He would shatter the record for most interceptions thrown in a full season.Yeah; but he only threw 5 interceptions! LOL
Yea this one to keep an eye on. Another one that HAD some rumblings was our longest commit, Aaron Gates, entertaining Michigan HARD after his OV there in June but he said he’s locked in with UF but we’ll see. A HS junior (now senior obviously) who’s stayed committed through a coaching change always are candidates to bolt
We gotta learn from this grandpa how to stand our ground against the gattas….And he didn't flinch even a **** inch. That guy has nerves of steel.
I wouldn’t even define his time at FIU as a struggle. He was building a program from scratch and FIU has gotten anywhere close to the capability Mario had them at.Can’t even get worked up about that one. He either doesn’t know the nuances of all of that, specifically Mario’s HC record or is willfully ignoring it. He said it best, Mario had win percentage of 73% in a P5. He struggled at FIU but he was only 35 in his first HC roll for a team that was the worst and had just moved up in classification. Ultimately his record is 62-60 but that doesn’t tell the full story.
I was strictly using struggle to describe his W/L record. It was an uphill battle for the reasons you described. Either way, agreed, anyone looking at that situation objectively would never hold it against him. The funny thing is that the rest of the CFB world holds him in high regard, especially Bama. I mean we saw Finebaun defending our honor because of Mario. Also, the funny part is that UF wanted Mario, but there were really only two jobs Mario would have left Oregon for and his first choice came calling.I wouldn’t even define his time at FIU as a struggle. He was building a program from scratch and FIU has gotten anywhere close to the capability Mario had them at.
So that would put him towards the back of the first round? It’s actually 6 career interceptions in 66 career attempts. He would shatter the record for most interceptions thrown in a full season.
