Tears Gator Tears

I know I’m lying down on the job but now I’m fighting pneumonia from this COVID crud.Man everyone PLEASE wear your masks cause my wife and I thought we were being super safe and we still got it and we’re not sure how.
This stuff is nothing play with especially if you’re a little older and have had asthma or something similar in the past.

Sorry to interrupt Tears for this PSA but I thought it was important and would get the most views in here.

‘now back to rejoicing over the idiocy that is the Gaytor program..

Stay away from people. You don’t want to catch the flu or a bacterial infection in your weakened state. I’m sorry you’re going through this and am looking forward to good news in a few days. Take care.

Get healthy soon, man. Sounds like you and yours are taking precautions and taking things seriously, which will probably have a positive impact on your recovery. But while you get back to full fighting strength, please enjoy some of my favorite Mullet Moments of 2020:

Begging to "pack the swamp" while crying about home field advantage in TAMU loss:

Pack the Swamp!

Fake tough guy starting stuff:

Wannabe WWE heel:

'A shoe was thrown? What shoe???':

Elite excuse maker:

"That's not the 2020 football team that you saw."

And I know this is not a 2020 reference, but this one always brings a smile to my face:

Enjoy & get better soon!

Nice work brother. This isn't my best effort but the Mrs. made meatballs for dinner and I was working with one hand.

@Ajcane8, Syracuse was the second to last time UF played an OOC game outside the state of Florida in the last 26 years.

UF & Michigan played in the Allstate Kickoff Classic at AT&T Stadium on September 2nd, 2017.

The final score tells the tale as to why the Gatahs don't like playing these type games.

Truly, this is the only comparison.

Of course, in that same time frame, Supurrier had also won the SEC twice (though one was taken away due to probation).

And, of course, just like Supurrier, in the next 4 years Mullet is going to win the SEC championship 4 times and the national championship one time. Right? RIGHT???

I would simply point out that he said "road game", which shouldn't really include neutral-site one-off games.

Unless ND plays the game in Chicago, this will be the first time that UF ventures to an OOC opponent's campus stadium since Syracuse in 1991.

But, yes, they did lose to Michigan, which was exquisite.

True. That was at a neutral site though. The last true road game was, again, in 1991!!!

Just looked it up - they are scheduled to play at Utah in ‘23. They need a warmup for their trip to south bend in 2031.

Doing better everyday my man..oxygen level is up to 97/98 and the antibiotics seem to be working...thanks for asking

97/98 is basically normal, especially for a home oximeter. So glad to hear it. Just keep taking what they tell you to take, just don’t let up on any of it. Hopefully this will all be behind you in a few days. Super glad to hear it.

It was 91 3 days ago so the treatments are working.
I fight the pneumonia thing a lot so I know what I need to do and don’t cut corners.Probably had pneumonia 5-6 times in the last 10-15 years...I usually get a pneumonia shot but I guess the COVID trumped the shot..lol

appreciate your concern but just know I’ve beat pneumonia 15-20 times in my lifetime and I’ll beat it this time...just takes time

****… I didn’t know that. That’s a lot of times to have an pneumonia. So the asthma predisposes you to get pneumonia. You already know the drill. So I wish you the very best. So you know how to deal with it, I was just assuming that you never had pneumonia before.

No when the weather changes back and forth( usually about this time and in oct/nov) I get head colds that I try to keep out of my lungs..I watch the color Of the Phlegm and when it starts to get darker it tells you it’s going from your bronchial into your lungs ..once it starts getting darker I head to the urgent care for what I like to call my holy Trinity...shot,Z -pac and antibiotics. It almost always works except when I wait too long to go cause I’m hardheaded and hate going to the Dr.
I had gone to the urgent care to get that when I got tested and found to be positive.
I had just gotten my first COVID shot on Thursday but they said I more than likely had the virus when I got the injection.

The virus has just made it harder to ward off the pneumonia but now that I’m through that they can fight the pneumonia which is now working.

sorry for the gross description above but it’s an easy way to tell if you’re going from a bronchial infection to pneumonia.

anyways yes I’m a pro at this.Something I’d rather have stayed in the minors with..lol
