Is there any doubt that if they could go back and substitute a mid-3star developmental DB who would’ve brought down their class average but been there for 4 years contributing on special teams and in some games on defense later on that they would still take Steele for a few months just to boost their rank and give Mullet the appearance of a top 10 bump class?

I looked and didn’t see anything yet. Remember when they were calling Keyone Lee the 2nd best back in the state, after Bowman, and (per Smurphy), “it isn’t even close”? Imagine if they were able to flip Chaney, which they won’t, but how long would it take them to not only call him better than Lee but better than Bowman?

I've been to the Gainesville area a bunch. I had some high school friends who went to school there and I visited the area around campus. Pretty much the generic college town. Not much there besides the university and businesses supported by the university. My uncle used to have a lake house on Lake Santa Fe, outside of "town". There was literally nothing there besides retired folks living on the lake. The lake was nice, we used to water ski in it all the time but outside of that, there was NOTHING else to do. I mean, heading to the flea market is a big to-do up there. Cool spot to spend a weekend but I'd never be able to live there.
