Tears Gator Tears

Our spring game had 9k when Ufag had 40k. I hate to say it but we did not show out as fans. I made the drive up to Orlando to watch my canes ball out. Why did only 9k others do it? We need more fan support if we’re gonna win championships with Manny! Because right now we aren’t doing our part!

People have to stop caring about spring attendance. I know it's a good trolling point between fanbases, but it means absolutely NOTHING in the grand scheme of things. And 9k in a city like 3-4 hours away should be expected. That's like my Gators holding a spring game at Savannah State and expecting a large turnout over 20k.

Long as your recruits show up and have a good time as well as your players, that's all that matters. ALso, it be the ones who talk about the attendance be the main ones who didn't even go to the spring game

Sure you aren't a Cane fan?

It's here........

"Recruiting flip candidates for UF"

The Gators still have plenty of time left before both the Early Signing Period in December and National Signing Day next year, but the staff has already identified several targets they plan to chase over the course of the next several months. Some of these names are currently committed to other programs, but have continued to mention hearing from the Gators and possibly still interested in the Gators. Swamp247 takes a look at some of the names the Gators staff has remained in touch with despite their commitment elsewhere.

You’re making really difficult not to like you. However, I expect that to change in August.

It's in VIP so we can't see it. Can you please give us some screenshots on anything entertaining? I know Anaele is on the list. I can't wait to see their Miami, Georgia, Bama or Clemson targets.

Agree. If the majority of gaytors were like @flagator86, we wouldnt have this thread, at least not in magnitude. He's less biased about his team than I am about mine. For instance, I'm sure he thinks there is good potential in their TE room, and there is, but I don't see him out here claiming that group is better than ours nor is he smug.

He identifies with his team in his screen name so it's not an undercover troll job. We'll see how he is in August but I have a feeling he'll give honest assessments before and after the game. JMO.

Had to share this: UF 247 board has a thread dedicated to our spring game -

Miami is also not very big/physical in their secondary (especially with Bandy on the outside) so we should be able to bully them pretty badly in the screen game with guys like Grimes, Cleveland, Pitts, etc. blocking. Additionally, I don't see anyone in that secondary that can negate Pitts' big body in the pass game. Too fast for their chubby/slow ILB's and too big for the little guys in the secondary. I really like the matchups of our weapons outside versus anyone that they are going to attempt to pit against them.

Despite Bandy's size, he is a monster when it comes to defending screens due to his instincts and physicality. Their TE/WR Pitts does seem like a problem, but mismatches like that happen all the time in football, UM is just going to have to figure it out.

Bandy has more heart and more fight in him than any WR on that roster. I hope to god their game plan is to have guys like Grimes block him out wide on screens.

Yes, I was surprised. I thought there’d be less. It was a nice sight.

Remember-everyone here is a gaytor fan. On top of that, the ‘House Divided’ license plates are everywhere with ucf and fsu. Around here, I see a []__[] decal on a car once every couple weeks. :/
Whoever says this 1st time wasn't an initial success either wasn't there and/or has absolutely no vision for how to build U brand going forward.

Apart from Otown, spoke to a lot of fans from Tampa, Ocala etc. To a person, they were PROUD that the U showed their area respect.

Manny is a visionary, just watch, and this is another chess move to drive our U into gaytor **** base. Guaranteed we made some new fans yesterday and I think should rotate back every 3 years.

Exactly. AC5, ABJ7, DJI8, & GH26 not physical ? Ok LOLOLOLOL (Omitted TB2 purposely, whats understood does not have to be explained lol)

Let’s not forget Frierson and Bubba. They don’t even realize we use a Striker as a LB, who will body up and run with their 3 catch WR. Anyone of the guys mentioned above will manhandle Pitts.
