Good to see a sense of humor about the situation. Even if it is gallows humor.
Seriously, bring in Butch. Sign him to a 3 to 4 year deal. Keep Coley. Hire Dorsey as Assistant OC and QB Coach.
Give Kehoe a friendly farewell into the broadcast booth with Don Bailey.
Grab a solid Xs and Ox D coordinator and then stockpile young and ambitious recruiters for the individual positions.
Keep Coley??????
Dude, that was a typo.....an oversight......something right? He's one of the worst OC's in the country. I don't care how good a recruiter he is, if he was retained I'd officially give up on this program.
I think there has been improvement. He is a great recruiter and my hypotheses is under a more proven and experienced head coach like Butch, he would perform much better. Having said that, if he is dropped it wouldn't break my heart assuming we bring in an experienced coordinator.
Well I couldn't possibly disagree more. I refuse to believe there's even a chance that bum is retained.....as a matter of fact it would be really discouraging if the new HC, whoever it ends up being, thought enough of him to retain him. That would immediately tell me that whoever that guy is isn't the right guy for the job.
Coley is just as bad as Golden/D'Onfrio...the difference is we have more talent on offense and the defense is historically bad, which has taken a lot of the negative focus off Coley.
If that POS is retained I'm out. I know I'm hardly the only one that feels that way as well.
