His "sick" momma must be resting easy with Junior right in her backyard now. Only a 7+ hour drive back home or a 2 hr drive to Portland for the closest non-stop flight home.....which is another 2 hrs.

That's 7 hours and 13 minutes. Check the map I posted.

"Oregon has coaches that actually care about me as a person and want me to grow as a person whiles also growing as a football player," Johnson told ScoopDuck. "That’s rare. They also feel that I can help change the culture of the team and improve the defense that’s already been improving. Lots of love felt already but more than anything I’m looking forward to gaining the trust of the players and coaches on and off the field."

Stop it with that comment though! Hope it wasn't a shot at Richt

Pretty tough to prove a hardship waiver is warranted when you don't even return to the same state as the alleged seriously ill family member, wouldn't you think?

That’s what I’m thinking...

Trying not to read too much into his quote, but can't help but wonder if there was some friction between him and the coaching staff at Miami. Probably has more to do with his ego being bruised as Garvin was ahead on the depth chart...[/FONT]

I honestly think Kul told him his future is in the hole when he got on campus and he got ****ed.

He was saying the drive from Eugene to Portland is two hours if he wants to catch a non-stop flight home out of Portland.

He said 7+ hours from Eugene to Sactown. I said, 7 hours and 13 minutes. I was making a joke along with his.

Not one word about competing for a spot or earning a spot. Lots of feels and loves and trusts. Hugs and kisses all around. Typical west coast love-in flower-child Oregon banter.

Not made for this.

His d coordinator, Jim leavitt was fired from univ s fla in 2010 for hitting one of his players in locker room. He also coerced several witnesses not to fess up what happened. Real nice guy. Johnson better bulk up if fists start coming his way from his d coach.
