*Coach Kool Gone...headed to Alabama*

Sits idly and watches the DL talent diminish each year under his watch and then dips when his "elite coaching" would be needed.

His tenure was a FLOP. Any halfway decent coach could have gotten similar production out of a two deep full of NFL prospects and his recruiting impact was net negative.

Some of y'all are unbearable. If you're a good coach, you're most likely going to get poached. That's how the game works. He doesn't owe us anything.

From a coaching standpoint, Kool was one of the best D-line coaches in the nation. No argument there.

But the man couldn't/didn't want to recruit. Our depth on the d-line is where it's at mainly because of Kool. ****, Hartley had to go in Duval and help Kool get Miller. For the peanut gallery that likes to throw insults to Canes fans that simply want alums coaching here, you should probably go look at Kevin Patrick's resume as a coach - it's pretty **** good.

Also, look at the tweets from current d-line players and you're not seeing too many ****ed off players.

List KP great resume

Miami guys don't get poached by Bama for the same position. You're obviously not a Miami guy.

You're right. They just go to UGA like Coley and Beard or UF like Randy and Scott. That right is only reserved for the HC. Assistants can do whatever the h*ll they want.

Outta here with that "Miami guys" mess. What coach has loyally stayed in a similar position longer than three years that isn't past 50?

They were all part of a fired coaching staff, no comparison whatsoever.

Be careful what you wish for

Hey, I don't want Kul to leave. More power to him if it's the best for him and his family unless he goes to Baga. But we have to move on and I would like to have Kevin Patrick step in and be the next man up. He's a Cane who knows the landscape, knows the mentality we are looking for and most importantly, you know that he believes what he's selling when he steps into some DL's living room and is selling #TheU to a recruit's family.
