I knew the insiders were cooked when they were saying him or Ryan Williams was transferring here this offseason

Throws a very catchable ball.

If Bailey ends up being our guy, it’s likely bc we struck out with bigger fish. But we can do worse. He is a legit P4 QB.

Ah so CJ turned down Miami for NC State. And it was because NC State (checks notes) paid more money. I guess three star quarterback prospects are just demanding too much money these days.

But I'd have to say he does seem to be developing at a level I personally didn't believe he had in him. That being said if he continues to develop he's only going to be willing to transfer to a place that gaurentees him a starting spot. That ain't us. With nickel and Coleman in the fold were not promising no one nothing.

If some want to argue that the staff should have prioritized CJ more than taking Judd then that take is fair. This kid was in our backyard and was part of the group with several players on the team. It was a no brainer. We fumbled.

That being said, I am still not sold on him and think we can do better in the portal next year.

Zero fumble in this unless you believe we should have been on board with his demands in competition & nil. Not even same ball park. Judd had zero demands & very minimal nil commitment. Exact opposite of bailey

I don’t care for Bailey at all and have made that very clear but this is false, lol. He had a 3rd and 12 dot on their very first drive. If this was referring to someone else then my bad, I’m only skimming through.

That’s not true. He completed a bunch of third downs with big throws. I don’t have the final stats, but at one point he was 8/9 on third down.

Curious to hear from people who watched the game. What did you see, good and bad?

one thing that stuck out to me watching some was that he will leave the pocket too early, which is correctable and also might have to do with a not great OL. thought he played fine last night and is young/can get better

think the jury is out until he plays some better teams
