Can it be.... Trayone Gray might get in????

Come on Chocolate. We need us some CC boys up in here. All these Liberty City boys need to see tough up front and personal. Plus, we just might need a QB after all.

All Valentine needed was a 19 on his ACT which he just got

aren't you always the bearer of good news...

One thing about DTs of Valentine's size is that it is really hard to find a double smart enough to take the test on his behalf. But if anyone can do it, I'm sure LSU has the means to put together a list of test takers to fit the profile.

This^^^^^ LSU has it down pat

Theres always an excuse why we didnt get a kid other than the facts of we've sucked the last decade and our coaches havent proven **** in the last 3 years other than showing their defense could prbly get shredded by high school programs

It depends on the grades too the score needed is higher if the grades are not as good.

I went to school with Jakhari Gore and he needed to get an 18 in order to qualify for LSU.

Matt on rivals said he just spoke with Aubrey Hill and Trayone got his grades up. He has only taken the ACT recently and needs an 18 to make up for his still subpar grades, but if he gets it he's apparently in.

I'm not sure I buy the idea that this is his first time taking the test, so I'm guessing that getting that score is far from a given, but overall it sounds like good news!

The only thing I question about that is they said he needs an 18 when the NCAA scores that test as each section added up so the ranges as far as score is concerned should be in the 80-85 range.

There is no way. The maximum score is 34 I believe, and 18 is just over 50% by that comparison. I know athletes who have gotten an 18 and that is what they needed to get in so I think this is pretty accurate.

An 18 overall yeah but I think what he is saying is they add up the scores from each section which are also scaled to 36. I think there's for or five sections so adding up those scores needs too be 80 or something

There are four sections on the ACT. If a kid gets a score of exactly 18, that means that the average of his individual scores on the four sections was precisely 18. For that to be the case, his scores on the four individual parts of the test would have to add up to 72 (4 x 18 = 72).

They probably sent somebody to pre-war Iraq to learn down to a T how to do the Saddam Hussein body double thing, and applied it to recruits.
