Butch hasn't been in the NFL in any capacity since 2004. Highly unlikely he is interviewing for the dolphins job.

The Dolphins are run even worst than THE U. Butch is perfect for THE U but all wrong for the Fins -- that is all they need. But yeah, not likely.

I don't see how this is a big deal. There is no way the university will not meet with Butch Davis and give an interview, even if just for show. I can tell you that everyone at the Hecht know he is the fan favorite. They feel the pressure and they will at minimum include him in the discussion. They may or may not be sincere about giving him a serious look. But at least they will give the appearance they did.

This is something I've wondered about.. I'm not sure if they would do this or not interview him at all and blame it on some bogus hiring minimum that requires "No NCAA violations occurring during tenure of coach" or some nonsense like that.
