I don’t want to see this thread go political and the party is irrelevant so with that said - he has influence being the head of one of the major parties in Florida and he has the ability to use connections to return favors for his request being met. It wouldn’t surprise me if he bought Junior another game or 2 to get through the season and then have a “parting of the ways”. I actually think Auburn would hire a Black HC before Bama ever would even consider it, AU already has a Black AD & they seem to be a more forward thinking program than Bama in terms of their view of bringing in outsiders.
