Alright, so I’m on record saying I’m not a fan of taking 6-2 220lb TEs.

But I just watched his film for the first time and I have to say… I ******* love that he didn’t touch the ball in his highlight tape until after the 2 minute mark. I love that ****.

It takes a different type of mentality to want to showcase two hawk-downs on turnovers before you even start to showcase your offensive skill set.

He could as easily be categorized as ATH instead of TE. In that case, I don’t think we’d have as many skeptics.

I’m so glad we don’t have to fake optimism anymore or pump inflated star recruits. Mario is bringing in dudes man. Real football players with the mentality that’s been missing here for two decades. Maaaan, I’m still being cautiously optimistic in general but I just have a gut feeling we’ll be good sooner than later.

To be honest he’s underrated because of his height. If he was 6’4” or taller he would be a high 4 star borderline 5 star with his stats and production.

Interesting tidbit from the commitment interview: after Gorman lost to Mater Dei (the #2 team in the nation), Lofton was in tears on the field. This was a game he dominated and made all kinds of hustle plays, including the first play on his HL reel.

We need more elite competitors.

**** yeah fam. My squat & bench as a Sr. were **** identical(515 PR squat, so, feather in my cap) but the most I ever cleaned was 280. I tried 300 messin' round with my dog who cleaned 330 and **** near passed out. Thought my **** head was gonna explode. That's an Ox skrong *** jit!!! That Chaminade film tells me that Fletcher won't be the only 230+ lb dude getting carries in '24...
