There's no way the presidents of those schools allow the coach or AD go around them. It would amount to "lack of institutional control" of the Athletic departments.Day's opinion doesn't matter. This is being driven by the presidents, and the presidents for OSU and Michigan are on board with cancelling fall football.
Michigan and OSU are loyal to the Big Ten. They won’t rock the boat.
OSU has a new liberal lady president. That should tell you everything you need to know - they’re not playing football this year
Good ol' boy Roy, you need to sharpen up on your LYING skills and what not!! Because the Buckeye state is FAR from being sizzy socialist commie liberal. Well, some neighborhoods of metro Cleveland are MODERATE with a touch of OPEN-MINDED liberalism. huh? And probably the hood, or is that community, or ghettos of metro Columbus tend to lean OPEN-MINDED moderate and sizzy socialist commie liberal. You know good ol' boy Roy, the BLACK LIVES MOVEMENT and the ****ot Rainbow movement. Ouch.
I think the SEC move was a win for A&M. More money and more visibility for them.
If there are no fans in the stands, the economy will be killed even if they play. The money comes from the fans. So Are the fans still going to come but just not go to the actual game?nebraska will bounce. no football will kill the Lincoln economy. the state runs on football. they will figure out a way to make up some of the lost money
I remember 10 game seasons, no conference championships & a bowl game, and people were saying "a playoff would be too many games".20+ games? The horror. Clemson has played 15 games a year (in 4 months) the last 5 years. 20 games in 10-12 mo this isnt a huge deal
nebraska can suck it.
another one of those schools that simply exists for the purposes of playing football.
glad they got their peckers knotted by the big 10. they deserved it.
A thread I made yesterday with the same thought.Would be cRaZy if a byproduct of the rona is a complete restructuring of college football.
all the bars and businesses depend on football downtown. people will just flock to those placesIf there are no fans in the stands, the economy will be killed even if they play. The money comes from the fans. So Are the fans still going to come but just not go to the actual game?
