Better Prospect: Brad Kaaya or Kevin Olsen

Honestly I am just excited to have real competition here...
QBU is back in full affect baby and I LOVE IT!!!!

What a great problem this will be to have opposed to a couple years ago when our incoming depth was Morris, Williams, Dewey and crow.

Right now Olsen because he had a Senior season and the Under Armor game under his belt. As a Junior going into Senior year, I say Kaaya. Olsen was a known quantity because of his Junior season, Kaaya will blow up by the time he completes his Senior season. Should be an interesting Spring and Summer 2014. But a good problem for Golden to have. Between the 2 I think Olsen will get the first shot at starting here at UM, but if he struggles, fans will be calling for Kaaya like the days they were calling for Ryan Collins when Frank Costa was starting/struggling.

I'm thinking the complete opposite. Olsen's senior season was washed out due to injury. The UA game was useless. His junior film was very impressive and I would put him slightly up on Kaaya as juniors going to seniors.

I got a feeling, because Olsen lost his senior year, Kaaya will light it up and move past him- prospect wise. They are both going to be good though.

The beauty is they should push each other on the practice field, not allowing complacency to creep in.
Amen brother

amen indeed. We've always been at our best when our players were pushing each other and everyone was paranoid of losing their job.

Your right, I was kind of worried that Olsen would win the starting spot next year and maybe take it easy after that. Now he will have to ball out two keep his spot. Love it.

It goes back to the whole winning thing. When you are a Miami ten years or so ago, or Alabama now, you can convince kids to try and crack the depth chart for a chance at something special.

When you stink, all you can push is playing time so getting multiple top level guys becomes less and less likely. We are fortunate that we offer more than most mediocre teams right now so we can still rub shoulders with the big boys, but its a **** of a lot tougher for us. We gotta get our **** together on the field.

LOL at anyone saying it's not close. Olsen is ahead right now if they were both on campus. Kaaya's a beast though and a year younger. Two studs IMO.

Kaaya has better physical tools right now. i dont think there is any question about that

judging by his Bros, I believe Olsen may have a lot of room left to grow. he looks like a middle schooler right now. dude could be very large in a few years
