Golden's retention after a 7 loss season in his 4th full year? Absolutely, I agree...it's classless and disrespectful to the players

Of course having everyone bail on you the first two years, because of heavy handed probation, and gutted recruiting classes don't mean **** right? Golden doesn't get any credit for steering UM through that morass from ****. He had to suspend players left and right because NCAA's scrutiny was bearing down on us. We weren't allowed to be like FSU or Auburn and just sweep everything under the rug and keep going. This is the first year we have any depth whatsoever. If we make no ( or very little progress) I want him gone too. BUT, if we get 9-10 wins, I say we keep him. Have you seen next years recruiting class? People need to chill out and not be such entitled whining *****es.

This is one of those posts that's so ****ing retarded coupled with the fact that the people that support Golden are so **** dumb that it's hard to tell if this is satire or not.

I was there before the championship runs, during, and after. We never once flew banners or wished for our team to lose. Go to the **** game and stop helping our opponents with your infantile behavior. Did we need Banners and losing games on purpose for Butch to turn it around? Use some common sense man. Maybe Golden can turn it around this year, if not then he will be fired, you guys acting like spoiled brats just pours salt in our wounds and helps our enemies.

Al Golden's decisions and behavior have helped UM rivals infinitely more than a handful of banners ever have, but by all means keep misdirecting your super fan rage at me instead of the coach defecating down his leg every Saturday and the University who couldn't give two ***** about it. Your mindless and unquestioning devotion has got us this far, maybe it can take UM all the way back to where they were in the years prior to the dynasty that you bragged about sitting through.

been reading a thread at reddit/r/cfb, regarding once elite programs being down for too long. Miami is the poster child of programs being down for too long without the resources to compete in a changed cfb world....some decent points made about the recruiting and one good coach being able to return us, but it's sobering to see even headed fans from other programs discussing our continued mediocrity as matter of fact; that we are literally a has been program that is barely trading on a quickly waning history for parents of croots who grew up only knowing us as a lower/mid tier program.

reading through really solidifies how long it's been and how far we've fallen. ****, there are fsu fans sticking up for us in that thread, with fans from Michigan to Tennessee saying they hope we make an reemergence sometime in the next decade, before it's too late, bc we're good for cfb....but that for now, there's nothing to indicate we aren't going to be anything other than in the middle of the coastal....

If they possessed a keen sense of logic they wouldn't be in the coach's pockets in the first place. They aren't dumb because they support this staff, it's because they're dumb that they support it.

Although the reductions hurt, it was the mass exodus of talent ( NFL talent) that didn't want to sit the probation years and twiddle their thumbs. I don't blame them for leaving early but they decimated our program. On top of that, we had to be squeaky clean, cause the next strike was going to be our last. How many kids did we suspend for minor bull****? Noles and Gaytor recruiters talked all kinds of **** of how we were going to get hit hard and be SMU'ed or worse. We lost a ton of talent.

Obviously, you guys can do whatever you want, I just think it's misguided. Golden might be a crap coach, or not? It's too early to tell. This is his first year with a roster resembling normality. Our offense is still razor thin. If we see significant improvement this year, lets see where it takes us. If not, he needs to go. Even then, I'm not going to act like an ***.
What's going to get him fired is losing games or people not attending. Flying banners offers very limited benefit and I feel it hurts ( recruiting) more than it helps. But maybe you guys are right. I've said my piece. See you at the games. . .
