Bad news on butch front

If the thought is that we can't hire Butch for whatever reason, than that actually helps us if he goes to the Gators in some ways. It forces us to up our commitment. Part of the hestitancy right now to even consider our options after Golden is the cost of it. They know the next coach has to be a big hire in the 3-4M range per year. One game at time. No chance of Golden being goine with 7 wins, 50/50 at 6-6, 90% at 5-7, and 99% at 4-8. On paper, I'm not sure we can win 2 games. Not an easy game left on the schedule for us.

The ceiling for this team is 6-6. I see a 4-8 or 5-7 season. I just want the season to end ASAP, it is not fun watching this dumpster fire.

If I had to guess, here is how I would put the likelihood of how we end up.

7-5 15%
6-6 30%
5-7 25%
4-8 15%

So the young hire that did work out was the president and not the AD? That's false. And Florida's basketball, baseball, and all women sport hires have been young people under Foley that have worked out.

Well I live in jax and it's gator country. Every insider, espn etc all credit Machen as the reason for Urban not foley. He and urban knew each other from previous job. U can claim false all u want doesn't matter to me. I never said that they were hiring butch, I have no clue. Just saying that despite people who said Florida would never hire him that he was in consideration. This doesn't mean he will be this time but u never know.

We can love us some Butch allllllllll we want. That doesn't make him coveted by anyone else though. The guy didn't even get consideration from the likes of Kentucky or Arky when they had openings.
