Announcing Today

It's odd that the guys who are the most caught up in UM's "be nice to recruits" campaign are the first to trash them when things don't go their way.

Typical dolt: "Don't be negative! You mean fans are killing recruiting!"

Typical dolt 3 weeks later: "Scarlett is a bytch made piece of ****! I hope his epiglotis falls out!"

Scarlett de-committed during his FSU visit so I think he goes there; although he would play more at Florida and right away. Either way he will not be coming to Miami. Just hope he doesn't throw the Cane lid on the ground when he announces. The staff did everything they could to get him he just decided to go another direction.

If we get Dexter and Walton I'll be ok with Scarlett's decision but **** what a fckboy move

It was classless. Regardless of where his is going, its sad that he never learned the concept of a personal commitment. Speaks volumes...

He's gone. Would not commit to re-commit two days later.

Yea he played um like a fiddle all the way to the final week he must've had this plan since the opening when he first announced

Bullsht. These kids aren't coming bc our coach sucks. End of story.

He was committed to FAU.. Can't be too shocked about his character after he committed to a school as a joke

No one would be questioning his character if he sticked to UM. He committed to fau because Roger Harriot, who is like a father to him, became the rb coach.

Kyle a committment is your word. Your personal gurantee. Your Integrity. If he stuck with UM, he would have backed his "committment" so why question it then?

Coming from a military family, this means something to me...

Do you question the character of Anthony Moten, Joseph Yearby, and Artie Burns who didn't honor their "commitment" to other schools and signed with UM.

What about the character of Brad Kaaya and Chad Thomas when they took visits while being committed to UM?

How about the character of every college football staff in America when a kid commits to them but then they drop him because of a bad season or because a better prospect wants in?

And if he would have stuck with his commitment he still would not have honored his commitment to FAU.

Due to the nature of recruiting, kids have to commit early to secure a spot. And coaches can still drop them. It's a two way street and I'm less inclined to put the blame on an 18 year old for switching what school he wants to attend. Coaches put pressure and force the kids to commit early before their senior year even starts. If he wants to make a change so be it. It's worked out in UM's favor plenty of times. Regular students sometimes pay two enrollment fees. Or tell school administrators they are going to a school then decide to switch.

Nah man he never planned on coming here even if we would've fired grolden and hired butch his *** would've still played the university of Miami

Not saying he comes to Miami but you still got signing day too even after an announcement today.

Tokencanes comments lead me to believe this is going to be a circus.

Stop it. The kid is going to florida and that's that

Where did I say he's coming to Miami in my post?

People even close to his situation have said it changes from day to day. This kid could very well commit to UF tonight and sign with FSU on signing day.

His whole recruitment has been a circus. He was a FSU lean at the beginning of the process and if anyone believed he was gonna stick to FAU is crazy. Over the summer the kid had a different top 3 and top 5 every week.

The examples used did not have the recruit ***** the team the final weekend of the recruiting season with now the non-contact period is in place. Bottom line is Scarlett screwed UM.

The guy can kick rocks.

It's about the timing not the commitment. Showing up wearing Canes gear last week and decommiting a couple days before signing day is the problem. Did he just realize UF's depth chart is favorable to him or that AG is a bad coach?

Would you hire Butch Davis again?

What is hilarious is the butt hurt of the Golden Girls. Who couldn't see this this coming through the Golden glasses. I am actually surprised at the kids that we still have onboard.

So the timing of a kid making a decision determines his character? Do you think Walter Tucker has low character since he switched from Clemson to Miami after he signed his LOI?

Do you want Gus Edwards to kick rocks too? You are the guys that were going CRAZY over Jawand blue flipping to UM from VT. You grown men attacking Scarlett have no real sense of ethics and just continue to hold the kids to a double standard behind a computer clear from scruity.

You guys are such whiny wounded faqqots talking about a 17 year old breaking his commitment as if you're wife just cheated on you.

How about the commitment level of your hero HC who was begging another school to hire him a week or two before signing day? There isn't any commitment from the adult highly paid HCs, so why the fck should there be any from the 17 year old HS kids?

i will be honest. If I was a coach or a parent, i would not want my kid playing for this staff. Scarlett has been having doubts. I think he held off because he heard the Butch rumors. he would have been here if Butch was here as would other kids. their coaches will tell u that. no one respects this staff. Golden had his chance against FSU and blew it.

Scarlett decided to follow his lady to UF, came back to UM to tell beard, wore cane gear to keep up appearances and not give anything away and announced his decommit from FSU to throw off the scent. He is Gata.
