Allison transferring

Couldnt beat out two quarterbacks that have no business at UM and afraid to compete with an incoming freshman.

What is with this attitude.. They're AT UM competing and are doing so well they made a blue chipper transfer. Kids develop at different paces, no reason to write off a kid because he wasn't highly recruited out of high school. What matters is what they are accomplishing now. "no business at UM" SMDH

not sure this necessarily means that the kid sucks or doesnt have it. i'll be curious to see how his career ends up.

but, current kids leaving was inevitable, especially from the QB spot. still need like 7 or 8 more if we're going to take a full 2018 class

Crazy **** is i remember him committing and fsu got henry. Both fan bases was going at it about who the better qb is and neither one are even with the teams now.

If he didn't have the number 1 spot in spring he was going to ride the pine his whole career.

Not sure what all the hate is about. It's not his fault he committed to a pro-style system & a new staff installed the RPO offense. Can't fit a square peg in a round hole. Pretty obvious Pastor wasn't a big fan.

once they said he has accuracy issues i knew he was done 4...........stop falling in love with arm strength and highlights.

Once I saw the numbers from that first scrimmage and had a bunch of toolbags on here talk about how "it was because they were throwing low percentage passes" I knew the QB spot was in trouble.

insert Kosi the god and we alright

Wow. I figured we would have had a QB transfer out - but not this early. Would have thought this would have come after fall (after a starter was named at least). Why transfer now when you still have a shot at the starting job? The coaches must have had a sit down with him and let him know he is 3rd on the depth chart going into the fall or something. Oh well. Next man up.

I agree the timing makes no sense but nor would the timing of a coach's sit-down with him. If nobody has stepped up, you certainly would want to keep the guy with the biggest arm and upside around to battle it out.

?? The timing makes perfect sense. He can go somewhere now and be ready to play in 2018 as opposed until waiting until the school year starts and having to wait until 2019.

That's certainly one option. Another would have been battling it out to be the starting QB at the University of Miami as a Freshman.

the kids not good anyway and was called out on here for not being good and that poster got ripped for it and he was right then and is right now.....lets see what he does elsewhere but I knew he will struggle at the qb position

thats my opinion

Obligatory post: The thing that really helps 2016 is the early commitment of QB Jack Allison..

Did you pay attention to the spring practices/scrimmages/Richt interviews? It was clear that he wasn't going to be the starter. He can go somewhere and be the #1 guy in a system that fits him, why would he stay here and be a backup in a system unfavorable to his skill set?

The fact that he's leaving with no one but Shirreffs and Rosier ahead of him -- and before Perry even enrollls -- speaks volumes.

The thing that really helps 2016 is the early commitment of QB Jack Allison. QB's usually stick and with him in the bag, the skill guys are gonna wanna play with him. Now if we can get Gibson somehow this year then this class might get decent. Irvin and Johnson I think are coming but ya never know.

Scarlett is coming. If Walton stays in the '16 class then I think we can keep Williams, Cronkite, and Scarlett with Williams being an athlete playing reciever and running back. Cronkite only wants two running backs in this class so it's important that Walton maybe stays in his class. Williams seems to be on board with the athlete role.

Recruiting.. . trending up

Now if this ************ would fix the god **** defense, we might be able to recruit DT's

Oh but at Brooklyndee was all about him just needing time. A Jack vs Perry battle he said. Another whiff.

Pretty sure I was only one of a couple people who stood up to that BS, all due respect to Dee (and I actually mean that).

Also, pretty sad that he's quitting this easily. He had all summer to work with the WRs and then the fall, but instead he just wants to go somewhere where he'll be handed the job. No respect for that whatsoever, good riddance. Looks like some of the rumors about him not being fully in it were probably true.

Richt runs a pro style system too.

Never sold on this kid, we need to get rid of a few more kids to a sign a huge class, looking back at some of our commits from 2015 was just embarrassing how many misses we had. We recruited kids with their best offers being Toledo and USF, get them out of the system.

Made several posts this weekend about allison agreeing with him being the most talented, agreeing with d, but criticized his prep and stated right richt him for it. Off the field mental stuff. Also made a clear statement saying he will be the first to transfer because of it and richt would mutually agree. Check the history.
