Allison transferring

Wow. I figured we would have had a QB transfer out - but not this early. Would have thought this would have come after fall (after a starter was named at least). Why transfer now when you still have a shot at the starting job? The coaches must have had a sit down with him and let him know he is 3rd on the depth chart going into the fall or something. Oh well. Next man up.

I agree the timing makes no sense but nor would the timing of a coach's sit-down with him. If nobody has stepped up, you certainly would want to keep the guy with the biggest arm and upside around to battle it out.

?? The timing makes perfect sense. He can go somewhere now and be ready to play in 2018 as opposed until waiting until the school year starts and having to wait until 2019.

I don't think this says anything about Perry but more about a kid who should've been the clear favorite to win this job by now. Next stop USF. Man was I wrong about Jack of No Trades.

saw that coming from a mile away. Can't blame him. He just wasn't going to make it here. Dude has 2 Spring camps, Fall camp, worked with the scout team, bowl game practice - you can't get more preparation than that as a Redshirt Freshman. If after that you can't beat out a senior that hasn't ever really competed for a starting job until this Spring, and a barely recruited kid with few Division 1 offers, then you're not likely to beat out the highly rated kids coming in after them either. Wish Jack the best, wherever he goes. Not surprised he's transferring.

Couldnt beat out two quarterbacks that have no business at UM and afraid to compete with an incoming freshman.

once they said he has accuracy issues i knew he was done 4...........stop falling in love with arm strength and highlights.

Hope he takes his bleeding ****** to the nearest brothel...where he'll also be 3rd/4th string at best.

You guys sound like a bunch of butt-hurt females right now. Show me on the doll where Jack hurt you.

Dude signed up to be a pocket passer here, not to run an RPO. He was a huge commit, who committed early, never wavered, and recruited more kids to come play here. So he figured out early that this system isn't for him, you guys have zero reason to bash him for doing what's best for him.

Once I saw the numbers from that first scrimmage and had a bunch of toolbags on here talk about how "it was because they were throwing low percentage passes" I knew the QB spot was in trouble.
