Didn't dmoney already vouch for dee, come on now...
I vouched for Brooklyndee and still do.
You don't need any other co-signer.
show me
More fake insder BS. However you could be right.
Hear ye! Hear ye!
There isn't a more cynical porster on these boreds than myself. I was as critical of Brooklyndee 's claims as anyone. So he sent me a PM and wanted to meet up and chat. Since he wasn't down for mat drills at the Y we met at Rao's (private table behind the kitchen) so we could chat and I could suss him out.
After that conversation I can without hesitation put the Cane Dynasty stamp of authenticity on Brooklyndee
He is the goods. We are actually lucky he's here.
So he changed the system to fit a QB who isn't on the team yet and hasn't even practiced? Allison was a top guy but Rick insisted on changing the system to fit guys he doesn't have yet? OK.
He implemented the system which he considered best for the future of the program, recruited the player he thought would most efficiently run said system.. & attrition was the result. Try to keep up.
Oh look guys another delusional "bro, we good with 2 rbs bro" "bro, fvck having a senior QB come back to lead this team bro" "a 170lb true freshman QB is going to be great bro"
Any valid criticism on the program and this board goes into full sob mode. It takes the 4th year of Golden's tenure for guys like you to see what's happening
if the kid is leaving it is on the kid. he might have a good reason or he might have a bad reason but its on him. how do you fault the staff that clearly would play anyone at QB that gave them the best chance to win. when players leave 90% of the time its because they were buried on the depth chart and they thought they could play elsewhere.Hmm let's see, Richt was unable to convince Yearby and Gus when we desperately needed them back. And now we lose the only current QB on the roster from schools worth a ****.
So no, I do have reason to think it would happen.
He can't sell a guy on competing for the starting job? If not for this year next year? He can't get creative enough with a pitch to have him stay when for the sake of depth we really need him?
Richt has lost 4 players this year that were absolute position of need. I'm beginning to see a pattern.
Pattern I am noticing is that these were all guys recruited by the last coach and were falling in the depth charts
What depth chart were the RB's falling behind? The other guys recruited by the same coach as walton and homer?
The four guys that could've stayed another year, now five with Jack, we lost this offseason were needed. Regardless if it was because they could contribute or they were just needed for depth.
I'm pretty new to this site so I don't get some things, but what's up with all the typos? Are they planned? Is Kayak an inside joke name for Kayaa? Just one example, but I'm curious.
why not go after Zaire?? whats the downside? He's probably better than Rosier and Sheirrifs, and doesn't hurt our numbers cause he's a grad transfer. He knows how to run the RPO and is more athletic than any QB we have...
He wasn't going to beat out Arrogate. Shocking development.
As I posted a couple of months ago, Jack Allison is a good basic quarterback who reminds me of Brandon Doughty of the Dolphins. A guy like that belongs at a smaller school so he can put up big numbers without threat of incomers who are actually...better than him.
Mark Richt wasn't going to settle for Brandon Doughty, not when he was visions of all these cheap prancing touchdowns with an athlete at the position. I still have no idea how that recent thread reached so many meaningless pages, the thread mostly devoted to all the quarterbacks who aren't named N'Kosi Perry.
College coaches these days love cheap touchdowns, throttled up from high school coaches who wouldn't know what to do without cheap touchdowns. By far my favorite offseason program this year was the Gruden QB camp episodes and how he ruthlessly mocked the RPO offense along with bubble screens, etc. It was priceless. A magnificent litmus test these days is opinion of RPO and similar offenses. Gruden knows that those are garbage plays that don't do anything for a team moving up the ladder, but the lazy coaches are too clueless to differentiate situational variance. Those plays work against the bottom feeders. No kidding. Everything works against those teams. You've accomplished nothing except to fool yourself and limit yourself. And when you are a stacked program you can abuse those plays also. No kidding. The 2001 Canes could have used any offensive style and made it look great. Likewise with recent Alabama and Ohio State and Clemson and any program with numerous premium picks entering the NFL Draft every year. Beat Alabama with Deshaun Watson and Mike Williams. Good plan. The Dunces of Outlier thrill to that plan.
But when you are stuck in that normal range of a good but not great roster with a handful of top tier players, nothing is more laughable or defines you as a sucker than reliance on RPO or similar tinkerbell finesse.
