Last year, Alex Collins didn't qualify to play football.

But after transferring and improving his grades, the South Plantation junior emerged as one of the county's top athletes.
In his first year as a starter, Collins finished as Broward County's leading rusher with 223 carries for 1,786 yards and 28 touchdowns. Major college programs including Florida State, Miami and Wisconsin are paying attention.

Had to transfer because he was ineligible with bad grades? Good luck qualifying

If Golden was smart he would put a clause in his contract where he can take 2 academic casulties per year

the man got the rest of his junior and whole senior year to get his grades in order which is more than enough time if he applies himself to doing so

Don't like to hear he had grade issues...I guess he'll be one to keep an eye on this cycle.
