Alabama's secondary

Unless one of our fans is an internet billionaire and wants to throw money around, Miami isn't going to get those players no matter how good a recruiter we have. It's fine though, plenty of other talent that does not need to be bought.
Miami has plenty of folks with yeyo money. Also folks in South America who'd love four their kids two get into Miami and wood have know problem dropping bags on our recruits in exchange.

Plug money around this program would not end well for anyone...

Do we have magicians like Butch? name someone on our staff u trust that will find 4 savage dbs that will become 1st rounders and perennial pro bowlers?
James Lewis was a starter on our ‘01 NC team. Good solid DB, but does he qualify? Not every recruit by Butch became a superstar.

Do you have all your shots? Just curious.

Not for nothing, Rumph deserves criticism. But isn't he the only Position Coach on staff who can't outright offer a recruit?

He didn't.

He chose Bama because he felt they would get him developed & fast tracked to the NFL to be a 1st round pick.

That's the main reason even more so than bags that elite CB's are choosing the SEC powers over us.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, El! It’s a better sleeping point if we continue to convince ourselves that bags r thee sole reason these kids r flocking to the SEC powers v. them flooding the NFL with their players & pro bowlers. We can’t be having an alternate reason on this board.

Let's see who's secondary is ranked higher at the end of the year, all this non-sense talk cause guys getting bought out and choosing to go else, shouts out to coach rumph for being a real TRUE coach, he doesn't worry about who don't come in, he just makes sure the guys that do are coached very well. Are people going to just overlook what Blades has been doing since he's been here, we got 2 real strong corners in Blades and Ivey, tuff and who will battle anybody, going to be fun next week.

STA is where it’s at lately with dbs from south Florida

Damon arnette just developed into a first rounder.

al blades and Asante Samuel have been great in college.

jordan battle is looking really good

They are the best football program in south florida.

Its where its at literally for every position

That's THE most important aspect of this season.

Realistically speaking, we have very little chance to compete for a championship this year. What we do have is a VERY realistic opportunity to win 10 games including beating a decent bowl opponent.

You do THAT, and we're going to be replacing some of those 3 stars we took early in the cycle with 4 and 5 stars THIS year. That will translate in the next two seasons and will hopefully build momentum to have us permanently back where we belong.

Don't get embarrassed by Clemson, and win the remaining games. This will build perception and confidence in the program both within recruits and their parents. Honestly to me that's what this season is about
