ACCCG Not Headed Back to Charlotte

LOL..keep on trying to pin that Ultra conservative *** chit on Liberals. They created and passed that bill with an Ultra conservative majority, and an Ultra conservative governor signed the bill into law, since we're in the business of identifying political groups. Now they got to deal with the 300 million and over 5000 jobs they lost, hope it was worth it. I don't live in that state, and can't wait to go to Orlando to see the Canes play in the Championship game next year ( yea I'm calling it) because of dumb *** people that think this law ever made sense.

If this is what being "independent" gives us, of what use is it to to be independent?

It's an unenforceable law that is purely based on discrimination and irrational fear. It's sharia law light for christians. What are they seriously going to put a bathroom attendant at every restroom and check under every slightly off looking females skirt to what genitalia they have?

All bathroom policy is based on segregation, champ. And nobody is arguing that is illegal or needs to be done away with, not even the liberals.
And most people don't like getting naked or using the bathroom around people of the opposite ***. That's not "irrational," it's pretty natural. Animals feel vulnerable when they relieve themselves. My dog eye f*cks the **** out of me when she sh*ts because she is an animal, so feels vulnerable, and is looking to me for comfort.

the thing is before the controversy nobody gave a cr@p. A man looking dyke could just as easily have walked in a men's public bathroom and used the stall to take a pee or **** and no one would have probably bothered to notice. Same with a transvestite walking into a female bathroom.

Who actually surveys a public bathroom looking at people instead of just getting your business done and getting out of that smelly place? Well maybe now that the g a y community wants so much attention drawn to itself you might have more people looking to see what kind of freaks are entering the bathroom.

Conservatives have been trying to overturn abortion and limit rights for decades. They never learn. It's like they don't even understand basic sociology. The more you tell people they can't do something the more you empower them to fight back.

Easily one of the worst threads of the year...

And that's not on you Tad, I know you didn't intend for this thing to devolve into a complete **** show...

But man you guys have really outdone yourselves lol

First off, is there a law in place that says I can get arrested for using the wrong bathroom? **** no! So a city might give me a disorderly conduct, but that in terms of a pure law that says men must use a men's bathroom. No No No. Why the **** you can't see that! That's called a societal standard, which is a huge different than a freaking bill. You have co-ed dorms, co-ed bathrooms in some colleges, but its it against the law? That chit wasn't a problem before, when did it become a problem until the Feds decided to have a homosexual agenda with their administration.

The perks of living in a co-ed dorm | Campus Life News for College Students | USA TODAY College

So don't come at me with this is whole, no one is allowed in a woman's bathroom chit, cause it's not against the law, nor should one be created! It doesn't need to be. Now, am I'm going to start using a woman's bathroom, **** no, I'm a man, I stand up when I ****. Maybe you should stop worrying who got a **** or not in the bathroom, and start peeping our dumb *** chit the government tries to pull on you.

1. It is against the law. As you just said, it forms the factual basis for laws under which you can be prosecuted.
2. It is against school regulation. It forms the factual basis for which you can be punished.
3. You're coed example just shows how lost you are in all of this. NOBODY is saying you can't have voluntary intimate facilities. If you want to share a room with somebody of the opposite ***, go for it. The issue here is liberals want to make the option of NOT sharing a dorm room with the opposite ***, illegal. Because that requires...sexual discrimination. You, in all your independent wisdom, have said that that the desire to not share your room with somebody of the opposite *** is pure Christian based hysteria.
4. And I'm not worried about any of this. I'm a man. As i said, this is all about a fear of men. But I've lived my entire life sharing these facilities with men. If Jennifer Lawrence wants to come shower in the gym with me cause she thinks she is a man, wellllllll, who am I to tell her no! My personal belief is we should largely get the government out of this. Let private businesses decide what their bathroom policy will be (the opposite of what the Charlotte bill did). But, when it comes to government buildings, there is no getting the government out of it. The government has to have some kind of policy. And that policy should be the same as it's always been since we have government bathrooms. Its worked just fine for us, and continues to work just fine.

No, I believe that those politicians in NC were affected by a Christian lobby group to pursue their religious freedoms, which they already fluckin have., and if you don't think they have a lobbying effort, you are blind! They tried to pass a religious bill in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia. This is southern tr

Believe it or not I agree with #4 , because that's a thin line to walk! I just think the NC Government shouldn't force a statewide law, because what about the businesses and private locations that want to have gender neutral bathrooms. You're right, have the government stay out of it, cause it was never problem before.

1. Once again, the law allows for transgender people to use the bathroom they have transitioned to. How can you claim this is about "Christian" hysteria????? Christians are letting men use the bathroom with women. They are only asking that you have actually transitioned to woman. Why is that "unreasonable"? Idiots above are comparing this to Islamic law. Can you please point me to an Islamic law that is that accommodating????
2. This just shows how lost you are. The NC government is not regulating "private locations." The law is literally called the "PUBLIC Facilities Privacy and Security Act." It's only regulating what occurs in government buildings. It allows private businesses to decide what bathroom policy they want. It's the liberal Charlotte law that regulated private business, and mandated what their bathroom policy must be.

Once again, this is alllll the result of liberals. NOBODY cared about any of this. Not even these "evil Christians." Transgender people that looked enough like the opposite *** were using the bathroom of their choice. Maybe not showers and dorms and such. But they were using the bathroom. Businesses were deciding what their bathroom policy was, and everybody went about their life, happy as can be. Then a group of liberals in Charlotte got together and said, "Nope. Everybody must accommodate you, based purely on what your gender identity is. You don't have to do anything more than say you're a woman. If you have beard and look like Mountain from "Game of Thrones," we don't care." And that's when the rest of the state said, "the f*ck did you just say?!?!?", and away we went. If the liberals just minded their own business, none of this would have been an issue.

well said. I'm Christian and could care less about where people **** and **** in a public bathroom, or with whom consenting adult you choose to have *** with. If you are butch chick and want to dress up like a man and use the men's public toilet go ahead. Same with the other. To be honest in a public restroom I am just looking to do my thing and get in and out as quick as possible. It is just all this attention getting that gets me annoyed.

I'm equal rights to pointing out Dumb *** chit! Not going to tie myself to one political group, why? Maybe if more people were independent with their thoughts, we wouldn't have to deal with half the bullchit in this country, but that's my opinion though. Trust me, there was 8 years of me pointing out dumb *** chit with the last administration, but I wasn't on this board during that time, so I don't have a foundation to go on.

The problem is, you haven't pointed out anything. You clearly have a political ideology, you call it "independent," as if that means anything.
But I couldn't care less about any of that. It's your lack of logic or reasoning. You've already said we need to let private companies decide this stuff and not have the government dictate terms to society. Meanwhile the liberals in North Carolina did just that. The conservatives responded but undoing that, and passed a law in line with what has been the thinking of civilization since the dawn of civilization. But didn't even mandate it on the private sector, unlike the liberals. Only established government policy for government buildings. AND included a provision that allows actual transgender people to use the other bathroom. And all of this is government overreach and evil Christian thinking. Meanwhile you have refused to answer whether the government can pass ANY *** based segregation policies in intimate facilities. And if so, why?
It's just all babbling that makes you feel "independent" and like you're fighting back against Christian oppressors. But as someone that actively hopes there is no god, and is a bleeding heart libertarian, you just come across as lost and not grasping an understanding of the issues.

Living in North Carolina, this is the most frustrating thing you can imagine. A bathroom bill keeping NCAA out of our state. This also included the NCAA tournament this year moving the Greensboro games to Columbia SC. Politicians being stupid

I believe the ACC is autonomous in making the decision but they won't buck the NCAA standard. Politics aside, I'm absolutely fine with anything that makes the ACC less Carolina-centric.

I love how everyone hates millenials but not the azzholes who raised them...maybe if your generation didn't hate people for no ******* reason like skin color and where they want to put their ****s/****s, millenials wouldn't feel the need to be so politically correct.

Us Generation Xers had nothing to do with you pajama wearing, basement dwelling mopes.
Chests aren't for shaving, and beer is best w a shotgun or funnel approach.

/we agree the game should stay in Orlando though, right?

I don't know what you're talking about, We don't have basements in Florida. And sorry, although I am a millenial, I'm past my time of funnels and shotgunig beers. I literally have to be on cocain or already blacked out drunk on game day to try that ****. I'm shamed to admit that I have fallen into the douche craft beer crowd.

If you assume that I don't believe in god and I"m a libertarian, than your views are a lot narrower than I initially anticipated. I'm against Religious oppression, you know the same people who crossed over the Atlantic, during the start of this country, to avoid. I'm against discrimination, but that doesn't fit into your religious scope. It's funny, that you keep referring back to Liberals as the cause, and getting defensive about a law that was rooted and lobbied by a Christian Right group. But if you need to attempt assume my spiritual beliefs based on a disagreement on a law that's pretty much useless to begin, then go ahead bro. And I acknowledge every point about why this bill doesn't make sense. You're advocate of it, and there's nothing wrong with that, that's your right as an American Citizen to be a dumb *** sometimes, we all have that dumb *** moment when common sense flies away

But maybe you need to pray about having god to expand your wisdom and horizons, and not hold such narrower views. Meanwhile, I'll pray that some cross dresser doesn't approach you in a bathroom in NC. You might lose your religion and commit a sin that day

Being a millennial has nothing to do with being ok with mental health ppl calling themselves the opposite ***. or all this other delusional liberal social bs thats being forced down everyones throats to accept as normal when its not.

There is a difference with not agreeing with someones belief, but minding your own business, and not being ok with someones belief and going out of your way to make someone's life more difficult. I do agree that believing you're a woman, when you're born with a dyck is a mental disorder. But I mind my own business because they don't pose a threat to me or society. And last I checked, we don't discriminate against people with mental illness or mental disorders in the country. At least not anymore..

The reason why you feel certain issues are being pushed down your throat, is because people still feel they're being treated different/unjust. Gheys are still seen negative from a vast majority of the population. However, there have been more rapes of young boys by priest and sick fücks like Sandusky who claim to be "straight" than ghey men or transsexuals. But it is not the catholic priest or the coaches who people view as monsters and are afraid of. Because when it comes to priest and coaches, people realize that the majority of the are good, but those same sentiments don't apply to the other group of people unfortunately.

As someone who's political views are in the middle, I can admit that liberals are annoying AF more often than not, but the hypocrisy from the conservative folks who preach small government is baffling. it is ussually them writing some bill preventing people from doing certain things when they don't agree with their way of life. conservatives need to focus on more important things other than bathroom laws and abortion. Live and let live, "it takes two to lambada". A ghey dude in an elevator told me that once. I don't know what he meant but it makes sense.

I agree with your post about minding your own business / staying in your lane... which is what the LGBT agenda doesnt do. nobody is stressing about gxy and transexuals daily except the LGBT lobbyist and the Democratic party that thinks catering to them (when i say them im referring to the lobbyist not the individual) is a winning formula for success???

This bathroom issue was made up by LGBT and ONLY became a huge issue bc President Obama made it a huge issue for some dumb@ss reason. And it's only going to be so much ppl can take before the other side stands up for what they believe in as well and it's crazy that ppl act so in disbelief that's occurring.

Has nothing to do with hate either bc liberals and conservatives both hate those that dont side with their agenda.

Were black people staying in their lane when they faught for civil rights? My argument is just for the freedom to do whatever the **** you want with your body. The problem isn't republicans or democrats, it's conservatives....and there is a difference. Anyone who argues against LGBT using religion is automatically an idiot to me, and that's what the majority of conservatives do.

But again, the hb2 law is a problem, because statistically not allowing people to use the bathroom they associate themselves with does cause more suicides, and secondly the hb2 law isn't primarily about bathrooms. It's about making it more difficult for the LGBT community to obtain civil rights. Plus legislation such as this leads to more hate crime.

I really don't see the difference between what the LGBT community is fighting for and what the African American community was and still is fighting for.

Also the purpose of the law clearly isn't to make it so men aren't just going into women's bathroom to be creepy, because this would mean any transgender male would still have to go in a females bathroom, which would still be the same situation. It's about more than that

This LGBT "movement" is completely different than the rights the black community fought for and its a completely different struggle, LGBT not even close to a comparison.

Oh Yeah it's just so completely different. My bad how on earth did I compare one group fighting for their civil rights who are being discriminated against by the federal/state government to another group being discriminated against. You are so right I'm sorry I ever thought they are comparable. Now I realize I'm completely wrong. The black man went through something no other group has ever or will ever go through in the history of history. Not Jews, muslims, Mexicans, women, LGBT, no one!

1. Huhhhhhhhhh????? I'm saying I am a godless libertarian. So speaking as somebody that is against the Christian right when they act "Christiany," you sound like an idiot when you go on and on about this being some Christian bill. The reasons why non-religious women wouldn't want some strange men showering next to them are so obvious it doesn't need to be detailed.
2. Liberals were the cause. They passed the original bill that created this mess. A bill you pretend you oppose, since you hate the government telling people what to do. Or do you only hate when the government tells you "conservative" things to do????
3. You have no understanding of what actually constitutes "discrimination." But you're joined by a few people in this comment section on that misunderstanding, so I'm not going to hold that against you too much.
4. I haven't assumed anything about your spiritual beliefs. I don't know anything about you except that you have a poor understanding of the issues and the law. You have constantly mischaracterized everything about this issue and the bill. You actually thought it was the state bill that was telling the private sector what to do, when it was the local ordinance that was.
5. Cross dressers aren't allowed to go into the bathroom. Neither Obama or the transgender student argued that should be legal. That's how bad your understanding of this issue is.
6. Once again, I'm not the least bit worried. If women want to join me in the shower, I'm perfectly okay with that.

Except there is no discrimination happening in this case. Not in the legal sense of the word. You're confused about what constitutes "legal" discrimination.
