Can we really? Being realistic we aren’t getting Urban, Peterson or any other major G5 coach right now. We don’t know how good Fickell will be outside the AAC. Kiffin could be interesting but it’s not like he’s been a world beater at all his previous stops.

Outside of Kiffin who honestly comes close that we have a realistic shot of landing?

Mario recruits well. Top 5 HC in terms of recruiting. His teams are tough and disciplined. The two biggest issues facing this program since 2006. If he comes in here and recruits at the same level his right now at Oregon and plays disciplined football, he will win here. It’s foolish to act like he won’t.
Kiffin would be a god send, he was only at TN a season and finished above .500 (almost beat Alabama that year). Did okay at USC but not up to their standards, rehabbed at Alabama, got the FAU job and won. At Ole Miss went 5-5 in COVID-19 season and has them ranked in the top 15 his second season winning 7 of his last 8 going back to last year. Dude has been a HC in the NFL and has tons of experience and is only in his mid 40s. He’s a much better HC than 10 years ago.

Not only can we get him...It will be him...

7:16am ET on 20/09/21 - remind to send the former cane in Orlando 69 cases of beer, happy ending from a girl via Skip the Game since backpages is now gone when his girlfriend is out of town. Also send some semenhole artifacts found in Manny’s & Blake’s *** for his collection.

The only way we get anywhere close to being back is getting is to hire a coach with a set, that rolls in and tells the admin what he wants and they either do it or he's out. Mario could be that guy, but why leave Oregon where they will pay for whatever he wants and come herewhere he has to fight flake James and everyone else for every little improvement.

Because it's great, to be, a Miami Hurricane.

10 million lol. You’d think this guy had a winning record or something

Randy Shannon would have been a much better hire than Diaz.

Well, that's a tough call. LBs would be much better. I was curious about penalties and looked it up, Miami was a heavily penalized team under Shannon. In our best season in years, 2017, Miami was #34 in penalties. Seems to be a lesson in there, but damned if I can figure it out.

I actually thought Kiffin was a decent option until reading this. Didn’t realize how incredibly average he has been lol
