But Bernard isn’t necessarily a burner at LB, he ran a 4.59 at the combine.

The comp was about Malik Bryant as primarily a Rush-End LB who will be converted to a Weak side backer.

If Malik was staying as an EDGE & playing in a 3-4, I would actually comp him more to Nik Bonitto

He has a verified 4.72 forty, 4.38 shuttle and 32 inch vert. He's also very coordinated. Better athlete than Shaq.

4.7 without any dedicated training is solid for an incoming freshman. Shuttle time is elite.

Verified 4.7 for a kid who plays LB and is going into his senior years is great speed. That easily equals sub 4.6 in 3 years or so.
