Something all those guys have in common - the eval staff was different then. Did you read about this kid? He is from Haiti and only started playing in HS. Fast riser with a good frame to get up to 300 lbs, long arms, and a high ceiling. Offer list is growing. Heatherman likes to takes traits guys and develop them. I have zero issues with this take. At worst maybe he can develop into a good depth piece over time. Those are always needed on the DL.

Okay keyboard warrior. It’s fair criticism to judge whether a recruit that is #1995 and a former FAU commit is a take for a team that is hunting for a national title. In the portal era, stashing guys for development seems not to work and the portal is in his future. The guy’s best offer was us and a bunch of ******* slap ****s.
I didn’t have to search for long to see you criticize one of our players but of course, your criticism is fair, but not mine. Go figure. How about this? I’ve offered an opinion and a decent analysis of why I should feel the way I do about this recruit. Argue the point instead of an ad hominem. Deal?

We still need elite guys with elite offers, and the elite offers have to be full court press trying to get that recruit. But to question the take is fair, this is why we have this forum.
Cmon fellas, stop the cane on cane hate. This should be a celebratory thread. Nobody knows how this young man will turn out. But from what I’ve seen on the field this year, I’m trusting the coaches and their evaluations. No team in America hits on every player they get. Let’s just see what happens.

Have you looked beyond his ranking and watched at his film? Judging by this comment i bet you haven't... Wouldn't call that "decent analysis". Do yourself favor and look at his film, then tell me if you feel the same way. He's probably not gonna be a day one contributor, but he'll be a depth piece at the very least.

Again, with the portal, stashing guys for a few years until their junior season isn’t desirable for the player. He’s going to portal to FAU and play before he cracks the rotation here.

Based solely on stars and ranking, I see your point. However, he’s also from Haiti and only been playing like two years. Throw in the other schools starting to chase and I’m not so sure. I’m going to watch some highlights, then decide.
