The Miami Hurricanes landed one of the fastest-rising prospects in the state with the commitment of Naples (Fla.) St. John Neumann DL Frederic Sainteus.

The 6'4, 290-pounder is a native of Haiti and has only been playing football for two years. As a junior at Golden Gate, he made 71 tackles and registered 5.5 sacks in nine games. He transferred to St. John Neumann and has been off to a torrid start his senior year. Below are clips from his most recent performance:

Sainteus is considered a high-IQ prospect with impact upside. The staff has been evaluating senior tape to identify players with a steep enough trajectory to be difference makers in Miami's front, which is based upon physicality and twitch. Sainteus chose Miami over pushes from UF, FSU, Georgia, Ohio State and Michigan State. He also wrestles and competes in throwing events (46'4.25 shotput, 134'5 javelin, 122'10 discus).

Coaches love this guy and particularly his senior film. Only has played two years of ball… georgia and Ohio state made late pushes as well. Not sure why you say he’s not a take? Please elaborate what you don’t like (other than his star ranking)
