DT Frederic Sainteus Commits to Miami

The Miami Hurricanes landed one of the fastest-rising prospects in the state with the commitment of Naples (Fla.) St. John Neumann DL Frederic Sainteus.

The 6'4, 290-pounder is a native of Haiti and has only been playing football for two years. As a junior at Golden Gate, he made 71 tackles and registered 5.5 sacks in nine games. He transferred to St. John Neumann and has been off to a torrid start his senior year. Below are clips from his most recent performance:

Sainteus is considered a high-IQ prospect with impact upside. The staff has been evaluating senior tape to identify players with a steep enough trajectory to be difference makers in Miami's front, which is based upon physicality and twitch. Sainteus chose Miami over pushes from UF, FSU, Georgia, Ohio State and Michigan State. He also wrestles and competes in throwing events (46'4.25 shotput, 134'5 javelin, 122'10 discus).

even being new to football its clear he has gotten some solid coaching in naples. He is a guy damione lewis would love cause this kid has no ad habits cause hes almost a blank canvass to work with.

Just saw his senior HL film. You know I generally support your comparisons and think you should be on staff for recruiting (even if they pay you via food table, per your request). I don't see this one. Check out the new thread for his senior film and let's discuss over there?

I see more Moten brothers' style than I see Joseph, who actually played End here to begin (though jumbo sized).

Met him at the SMU game in Dallas. Very cool dude. He was there supporting Russell Jr.
