Feels like this is his Daddy gives the most money to the booster club situation. Or because of his NIL price tag no choice but for him to start. All of their media had him behind in this battle. I’m more interested to know how it is going over in the locker room. If he has been getting outperformed all camp those guys in the locker room are well aware. Goal has to be to make him turnover the ball at least once in the 1st half. I’m not sure if he is mentally tough enough to bounce back. Throwing by yourself while the rest of the team is stretching. Multiple picks in each scrimmage. The red flags are there hope we can take advantage.

Need to respect your opponent! Notre Dame has twenty, 20 defensive linemen! They are going to pound it and try to wear us out. Let’s hope our great offensive line can handle them and Carson goes for over 300 yards like Walsh, Erickson and Vinny did.
In last 3 years, Only Maiva for USC (air raid dna 👀) and Drake Maye in '22 have gone for over 300 yards on freeman defense. In '23 they held 11 opponents in 13 games under 200 yards passing and last year they held 10 in 16 games under 200. In '22 9 times in 13 games. They do play service academies but still.. Impressive.

Did the NCAA change another rule?

Freeman is good. One thing I noticed though which is crazy to me. All of last season, they played 3 road games. All year. Week 1 at A&M, and that game was tied at the 2 minute warning. They played at Purdue, who was the worst P4 team in the country. And at SC as you mentioned, they gave up 550 yards of offense, and the game was 35-28 ND, USC ball, 1st and 10 on the ND 21 with 4 mins left.

They threw back to back pick sixes and lost 49-35.

Still imagine their game plan will be the same. Long, methodical drives that eat up clock. Play great D on the other side. This is like playing a better version of GTech, hopefully that game last year taught us a few things.

100%

Its the Michigan/* way of scheduling.. ND just gets away with it more because they finesse Neutral site games also for their fan base. On Mich '23 run I swear first month of season they played the same team at home. I would joke it was deja vu, a 31 point to 1 score against some terrible team.

Glad we finally hopped on the 8 home games wave.. finally

Expect a trick play on legitimately every change of possession and special teams opportunity.

Oh yeah, and don’t f***ing fumble.
