I'm sizing up that Pitt or UNC game as an away game I want to get to.

This is our first easy *** schedule in a while. I love it. 10-2 has to be the floor.

I'm abstaining from traveling to Chapel Hill ever again. I went in 2004, 2007, and 2009 and they lost all of them. I didn't go in 2011 and they won. I'm doing whatever I can to help and support the team.

Way to lay down your brick, Dan.

What did you think of the town, though? Has to be better than Pittsburgh.

I've only been to Pittsburgh once, and maybe it was just that night, but downtown seemed to shutdown at like 11 pm. So bizarre. My trips to Chapel Hill have only consisted of holding up in my Hotel and going to tailgate all day. Tons of Canes fans make that Chapel Hill trip. Its great. I just got tired making the team lose.

Pittsburgh is ok, and that depends on where you are from. There are a couple of decent places right around the stadium so you don't need to worry about travelling around.

That said, it doesn't matter. Good people = good times.

I would be disappointed if we are healthy all year and go any worse than 10-2

I might to to the Pitt game just to devour Pat and Geno's for 2 days straight.

Anyone know if the win totals for next year have been posted on any sportsbooks? I'm hammering over anything 9.5 and under.

Pat and Geno's Cheesesteaks in Philly? Pittsburgh has Primanti Brothers which is incredible.

How is Philly 4 hours away from Pittsburgh? Why didn't I pay attention in 7th grade geography?

We have a Primanti Bros in Ft Lauderdale. I want some authentic ****.

Primanti Brothers was started in Pittsburgh, but yeah that's about all they got man. I will bring you some of grandma's homemade mac and cheese though.

No, they don't do that early. Too much chance to be hammered if you make a major mistake. If a number runs from let's say 6.5 to 8 then you're extremely vulnerable. Only so many places that result can fall. If it lands on 7 or 8 the sportsbook loses. Sharp guys will have played over 6.5 then come back on under 8. With a pointspread you might make a big gaffe, and have the number run from 7 to 10, but the favorite could win by 40 so you never sweat it. As I tried to point out in a recent thread, there's no risk and very little sophistication in future book odds. It's not an exact science to make a team 20/1 or 30/1. You'll only pay off one team and the built in house take is enormous. But with season win over/unders the books sweat all year. They got nailed on those props this season, particularly on the NFL. Some of them fell on exactly the wrong number, like Miami which was 7.5 then dropped to 6.5 and fell 7, and Cleveland which ranged from 4.5 to 6 in the early going and fell 5. I took advantage of that one. Kirk Cousins is my new hero, for defeating the Browns on the road in game 14 as a 4 point underdog after Cleveland had won 3 in a row.

BTW, Miami won't be 9.5. No chance. Numbers like that are reserved for elite teams, ones that have proven it lately. Fans might be carried away on sites like this but the projected pointspreads and attached probability doesn't add up to 9.5. We'll be underdogs to Florida and FSU, and short favorites in other games. It might be 9 but I'd certainly expect to see 8.5 in some spots. At this point I'd guess 8.5 with the juice on the over.

Regardless, I wouldn't expect too much aggressiveness from Nevada sportbooks in coming months, nor from offshore sites. Those places got destroyed in football this regular season and it only got worse last weekend when all four favorites covered and Alabama covered a day later. That meant paying off parlays around the block. Here's an article on how badly the sportsbooks were crushed this season. Keep in mind it was written before the opening playoff weekend:

They've got that one really good place to eat, I don't remember where.

Best part about this schedule - it screws Virginia Tech over

**** this 10 win talk. I want 12, followed by an *** whipping given to Clemson in the ACCG.

sweet ill be able to go to Duke and UNC this year. only 2 hours away.

It disappoints me greatly that the U will not come up to Syracuse which is three hours drive drive south from where I live, this fall. :(

My friends and I are probably going to watch Clemson play against Syracuse.
