Article: ACC Releases 2013 Schedule

The ACC released it's schedule matrix for the 2013 football season. While dates won't be announced until February, the opponents and divisions have been finalized.

Big things to note:

-FSU and Virginia Tech are finally split up from each other.

No longer will we have years where we have to play the Noles and Hokies on the road in the same year, which is great. Not just because it makes it easier on us, but because it ****s over Virginia tech (always a plus).

-We play at Pitt again.

We get to welcome Pitt to the ACC by dropping a steamer on their chest again in their house. This is also great because I get to squeeze Penguins hockey into my week-long 'Canes road trip.

Im liking this Florida State type of Schedule. No reason we shouldn't win AT LEAST 10 next year.

I'm sizing up that Pitt or UNC game as an away game I want to get to.

This is our first easy *** schedule in a while. I love it. 10-2 has to be the floor.

I'm abstaining from traveling to Chapel Hill ever again. I went in 2004, 2007, and 2009 and they lost all of them. I didn't go in 2011 and they won. I'm doing whatever I can to help and support the team.

I'm abstaining from traveling to Chapel Hill ever again. I went in 2004, 2007, and 2009 and they lost all of them. I didn't go in 2011 and they won. I'm doing whatever I can to help and support the team.

What did you think of the town, though? Has to be better than Pittsburgh.

I've only been to Pittsburgh once, and maybe it was just that night, but downtown seemed to shutdown at like 11 pm. So bizarre. My trips to Chapel Hill have only consisted of holding up in my Hotel and going to tailgate all day. Tons of Canes fans make that Chapel Hill trip. Its great. I just got tired making the team lose.

The Florida game could be the biggest game for the program since the OSU game in '10 and it might even be bigger. Next year is all about momentum. If we get it rolling in the right direction, there's no telling what we could do. A 4-0 start, regardless of the non-BCS AQ's would be a great confidence builder for our guys and could also get some of our freshman who will see playing time, well integrated into what we're doing.

I'm thinking realistically 12-0 going into ACCCG.

Our toughest games are going to be FSU and UF.
For FSU Manuel is finally gone after playing 10 years, Rhodes gone, Woerner gone but the big one is Manuel. Trickett looked like crap when he played so they start him or Winston who has never played.
And UF is losing a ton of players and start Driskell at qb who is questionable at best.

2013 is looking like a monumental year.
