Here’s my take. If Miami hired a guy like Nunez 8 years ago instead of Blake James, it’s a decent to solid hire.

Today it feels underwhelming with all of the “we promise we care about football ; we promise to spend money” coming from the top

Nunez seems raw. We need someone to come in who has experience playing with the big boys. A young guy like Nunez will end up being a pushover.

And consider me not excited about the prospects of landing someone who is lauded for their “fundraising” prowess.
