Y'all think the game will be played Friday night?

Not endorsing any particular brand, though I could, but the new generation storage batteries can give you hours to days of back up electricity and the prices have come down significantly. Unless you are in tornado alley, full size generators are unnecessary and they can often be charged via solar if the power is gone for a while.

It almost never happens except for a game like fsu/ga tech and bowl games. Teams stay home and on their schedule as long as possible. It’s not like come here and practice here. They practice at home and then leave the day before the game.

There was a time when a light drizzle of rain or a pleasant spring breeze would cause @JBCanes-NC to lose power for days even weeks. He used to miss a lot of UNC Tar Heel football games because of this. The power lines leading into his trailer park were in serious need of an upgrade.

Last year there was a storm forecasted before the Duke UNC basketball game. @JBCanes-NC was literally suicidal.

@Dr.L.ThugU is a good friend and went into action. He set up coin drop boxes at @stevehick nail salon and dry cleaner as well as at @FlatlandCane farm stand. He raises a few hundred bucks and was able to get a generator for @JBCanes-NC

He watched the basketball game that weekend and hasn’t lost power since.
