Yall need to wake up

I’m sure the fans of those other teams that struggled aren’t super happy either. It’s one thing if you’re Clemson who has had 11 straight 10 win seasons, multiple CFP appearances and two national titles. It’s easy not to panic about early season games when your team is consistently great. When your team is consistently mediocre and has no recent track record of success, it’s more concerning.

Every year Miami has had some struggles against a bad team and everyone always says “relax, it’s week two, we still got the win” and then they play an actual good team and get smoked.

Maybe this year is different but if recent history tells us anything, it’s that early season struggles against inferior opponents are a bad omen.
You forgot how everyone always says "but we haven't opened up the playbook yet".

still early to gauge on how well look but I dont expect us to run the ball the same way we've been doing against much better teams and talent with this personnel right now. also, I know some people like ground and pound but I think you need some balance there. well see what happens next week. that'll be a good test for OL and DL

Look around college football it's week 2. Man told me Clemson defense is awesome and best in the nation. Furman didn't care, they went 30-39 and gained more overall offense than Clemson. OU was up less than a TD going into the half v Kent St, similar to what we did v Southern Miss before pulling away. App St kept the ball for 41:30 against Texas A&M on the road and beat them. A&M had 97 yards passing and 89 rushing v a team UNC shredded in week 1. Yall seen the game with Bama and Texas, I thought it was gonna be a blow out. ND lost to Marshall at home after celebrating their moral victory v Ohio last week.

There is more examples but I say all that to say this, it's early season, teams are struggling, teams are trying to find their identity. The best teams not only find a way to win, they find away to be better so by week 6, these struggles feel like it happened years ago and they are better for it. Expecting us to be perfect with a new staff when teams with multi year staff and so called more talent are struggling and even losing doesn't make any sense. Some teams are gonna improve , some will get worse. We have to work to get where we wanna be by seasons end. Support the team and enjoy the journey. Making definitive statement about a team and a staff 2 game in is nonsensical to be kind.

Thank You.

No sir, you have to wake up. I certainly don't know how old you but this program has spent the last 18 years in mediocrity at best with a slew of coaches. Many of us are tired of this and I hope you are too. If you watch other teams like Alabama, Texas, OSU, Kentucky, USC, Georgia, Michigan, Clemson, Michigan St, and many more teams they can TACKLE and are very fast. After two games we look slower than these teams and a huge propensity to miss tackles. Enough said but get with the program unless you are satisfied with this.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is to clean up mistakes unrelated to the opponent. The OL looked confused. They weren't passing off as they should, and it let some free-runners get past them. TVD needs to clean up whatever is up with his mechanics. He's not getting the ball to the receivers where they can continue to run. He has been more accurate with that in the past. He's also throwing late and holding the ball longer. DB's need to start high-pointing the ball. DL will need to work on containing the QB this week, and not letting him escape the pocket.

From what I understand, Gattis ran a much more complicated offense at Michigan. I expect to see the playbook open up this week, and Steele's too, for that matter.

We’re 7th in the nation in points per game averaging 50 points.

We’re 16th in yards per game.

Our defense gives up 290 yards a game and 10 points.

I know we played 2 easy teams but realistically what more did the mopes want to see?
You can't be serious with that stat. You realize we've played a grand total of 2 games, one of which we scored 70 points...?

Thank you for stating this. You have fools on here ready to turn on Mario and run Gattis outta town based on a slow 1st half start in week 2. GTFOH! These types are the f*****g worst!
they are worse then the worst . UM is in the best position its been in since 2003 . What's to complain about ? We finally have great coaches across the board . I love where this program is headed.

Hey Rod we played two teams so far that are sub par to be nice. Do you think our defense can stop OSU, USC, Georgia, etc. **** NO!

OTOH, the score was 30-7 and we took the foot off the gas. We gave up a lot of middle field yards and didn't get off the field enough on 3rd down, but their only score was from way out to a top tier receiver no matter what team he is on.

How the **** do you watch tv games and decide who "looks faster"?
