I guess there's really no good way to handle it. The SEC and ACC refs (thank God) couldn't call the Ole Miss game for obvious reasons. The B10 crew couldn't call the IU/OU game. I think we just had the Big 12 crew for the Taint game (I could be wrong on this), so we were stuck with the B10 crew.

Personally I can't stand officiating crews being conference employees. There's too much room for conflicts of interest.
 
People forget in that game we had our top 3 corners out. Possibly our best one (Brown) out all game, Lucas our #1/#2 out the first half. And our #2 out most of the game with a leg injury. We beat them easily if our corners were healthy or not suspended. They got so many crucial 3rd downs through the air cause we shut their running game down!

Its a non story and distorts the reality of things. Indiana had 317 yds for the game and 144 of that came in the second half. That graphic has 6 plus min on the on the clock and they proceeded to go 58 yards score that last FG. We didnt lose because Lucas wasnt there in the first half, although naturally he would have helped a ton. We lost, because we were scared of our own shadow on offense in the first half and Indiana punched us in the mouth on the LOS, which our OL wasnt used to and that ****** TE's lack of any semblance of an effort got a punt blocked for a TD.

It wasn’t just Lucas we were missing. OJ was out also. He tried to play but couldn’t. Brown, well we know he been out

Sure but we all know injuries are a part of the game. My comment was just strictly that Lucas missing the first half because of a BS targeting call cost us the chip. Our defense played lights out all game against a machine.

I’m just saying his legend grows every time he is injured. It’s wild. He suddenly turns into the best DB on the team based on…absolutely nothing

I hope he stays healthy and proves it I just don’t understand where this comes from other than people being attached to his high school hype

Facts. He can play so no disrespect intended but our depth of talent means you get hurt again for any long stretch and you aren't getting your spot back. Antoine, Jennings, etc look ready to step in.
 
Lake seems to intimate that he’s out injured for a while as well.
