The lack of coaching hires didn’t make a difference. JSU dropped a heavy bag and sold the kid on joining Hunter with this new trend of going to HBCU.

We are ok. The kid is nice but he wasn’t having a major impacted this year. Hit the portal for a WR and start focusing on next year WR class.

Portal. WR will be available now and in spring out of the portal. Missing lineman is a bigger issue than a skill position. I wanted Coleman but it’s not that big of a loss.

His position coach is on staff and the same position coach that was recruiting him at Oregon. This argument holds zero weight

The ridiculously loaded 2023 WR class is what's up. It's why I was good with not taking Landon Ibieta. I think he was going to get passed on Aug 1 2023 by all of them.

I am also not heartbroken about losing Coleman because he's really small and we have that type overloaded right now. But don't get me wrong, unlike Landon he's much more dynamic and I wanted him.

Yea this kid wanted to be a Cane and was as good as Coleman imo….now he’s a Tiger and we have neither…oh well there’s always the portal.

Bull****. McClendon is on board. Some of these kids want the shock value of instant gratification. Unless he got some huge NIL deal which I doubt, this was a foolish decision. Television exposure? It will be almost nonexistent.
