It just puts in perspective why a legend and football gawd is still coaching at podunk FIU and not at some marquee program. Total lack of character and classless. Then to just bold face blatantly lie about it. I'd respect him more if he gave a wink and wry smile while he said it. M'fer sold his soul for this one.

they had 2 weeks to prepare for VT, too, and they got pistol whipped by a sh1tty team. Can’t explain that. The more time this staff has to coach, the worse we play. Can’t explain that. Actually, I can. We have sh1tty corches

I was born in 1997 so I was only 4&5 years old the last time we were dominant across a whole season. No I don’t count 2017. My whole life the canes have disappointed me. At least for you older guys when we sucked in the late 90’s you had seen what dominant teams looks like

I like Deejay Dallas a lot and hate it for him in terms of the injury but it might not be a bad thing. Those other rbs behind can really run too

Looks like his last game and to go out like that sucks, but not a devastating type injury for an rb either.

Why not have one of your writers write something of relevance and discuss the last ~20 years of apathy and lack of accountability the BOTs and admin have had toward this program? Have this article pinned to your front page and emailed and sent out to all.

If it was an acceptable practice you would see it in every game. You don't see it because most coaches would be ashamed to stoop to that level. I honestly didn't have a strong opinion of Butch Davis until now. If his team just came out and whipped us, I'd be thoroughly impressed. Instead I saw a slimy coach. Not the guy I'd want to see leading my program. A lot of parents saw that too and wouldn't want to send their kids to play for a coach who has zero concept of sportsmanship.
