Worst loss in program history

Also the "worst victory in 20 years" or whatever that thread was.

Might be a slight hint the program owns less than overwhelming talent level. Watch the games without any background or bias and you wouldn't sense that one team was supposedly markedly superior to another.

A few weeks ago we had threads here asserting 3-9. Now we're back to worst loss in program history. But during the offseason we'll be running the table again, due to our laughably weak schedule and all those great spring practice indications.

The big issue for me in looking over the schedule, is the inconsistency of the play of the team. I mean we play Florida tough, or at least relatively speaking, but then we lose to GA Tech and their 122nd ranked (out of 130) offense and their 87th ranked D and we allow them to score 28 points, their highest game total of the season, now this, but then beat 8-3 UVA and 7-4 Pitt.

That inconsistency can only be coaching.

I cant and we as fans just in general can’t want it more than the players do. We personally care too much but until I see Different that’s going to stop on my end. Is what it is. Wish it was different but we have reached that point
Agree totally Brock. Been there since VT

This. I was in the skybox next to Frenk and he maybe caught 30 seconds of the game. He was on his phone the entire **** time. Now to me it looked like he couldn’t possibly care less about what was going on, on the field. He was writing a novel of a text to someone. Even crazier was that Shalala was in the box with him.
WTF

Everybody involved is lucky if they keep their jobs. Beyond belief.

I was going to write that the entire coaching staff should be penalized one games pay for a disastrous performance, and that Blake and his AD should be penalized three games, one for overseeing the coaching staff, another for agreeing to a game at that awful football stadium, and a third for pure incompetence.

Rules are rules. You play by rules, not honor. You know this.

Sad that you feel that way. Sure others share that opinion. Explains why the country is the way it is. If it was within the spirit of the rules, you would see it all over college football. If it was an acceptable practice you would see it in every game. You don't see it because most coaches would be ashamed to stoop to that level. I honestly didn't have a strong opinion of Butch Davis until now. If his team just came out and whipped us, I'd be thoroughly impressed. Instead I saw a slimy coach. Not the guy I'd want to see leading my program. A lot of parents saw that too and wouldn't want to send their kids to play for a coach who has zero concept of sportsmanship.

The schedule next year is more difficult. Many teams we played this year should be better next (F$U, UNC, GT, Duke). A couple project similar or the same (VT, PITT), and only UVA appears to be a likely regression (and that is not a guarantee, but they lose a ton of experience).

I saw a winner, and I saw a loser. What did you see? Do you think the US military has never been slimy? Do you think winners always take the high road? Honestly? Yeah, it was weak looking, but you use the rules you are given. Why do you think most politicians are lawyers? They know the rules, and how to bend them. Work smarter, not harder. Diaz can't grasp this.

Have given up on my Redskins because their dumbass owner won’t sell the team. There is no hope for them as long as Snyder owns the team. Now it’s the same with Miami. Nothing will be done as long as we have these coaches, this administration, or this AD. Therefore, I give up on the Miami Hurricanes after tonight. Haven’t got enough years left to wait for any changes, let alone improvements. So I’ll say so long to them after tonight. There’s nothing to look forward to with this program.

I do have one last question, however: Don’t the students at the U care about these continuously awful sports programs? At least Tennessee students rebelled when they were going to hire Monkey Boy. You would think the kids would be ****ed off with all these crap teams..

Luck has nothing to do with anything. All about the Benjamin's so don't expect much change.

Yes though, worst loss in history.

Dan Enos, I would've left him on the field to die. The again, that makes me Manny Diaz in this scenario and I was too much of a ***** to tell him in absolutely certain terms, that Jarren was done for the day. Only excuse for not doing that, Perry was injured.
