Thats why I drink either Cranberry Juice or Gatorade (G2 less Sugar) in between...Excessive water consumption by endurance athletes can cause an unhealthy depletion of electrolytes, through perspiration and urination. They need to make sure they include these electrolytes when hydrating.
The condition is called hyponatremia, when the sodium in an athlete’s blood plummets to a dangerously low levels.
