Who’s gonna step up and fly the banner rightfully calling for the firing of the two nincompoops leading this program into **** in Flake and Manure?

Sure, but you can't just fly it on one home game day. Fly it at UM home games AND away games. And just to be safe, fly it at College Gameday every Saturday. That's how you'll get the eyeballs on this that you need to create real pressure and effect changes. It all needs to be more aggressive, like all of the other successful banner plane campaigns that have changed programs around.

Eyeballs on some clever banners is exactly what this program needs!

I didn't go to Miami, i chose to support them, i don't even have a relative who went there. I got a hotel saturday evening, drove down from palm beach and went to the game with my girl, we just got back. Supporting the team cost you money even attending just one game way outside of buying the ticket, especially when you don't make alot of money. People care, when they feel like they are not being listened to, they tune you out. You make it sound like the people who give more money care than the people who dont. No people give what they can.

If you have 100 Million and you donate 2 million its not alot to you as a percentage while if i have 5k and give 2.5k, its alot more impact on me than that 2 million to that other person. The university has more use for 2 mill but that doesn't come down to how much you care. I came down from Palm beach, people are making 5 hour trips from Gainesville and 7 hour trips from Jacksonville, make it make sense why they should do it. And when UF was horrible with shark teeth, i saw plenty of empty seats even while they have endless amounts of trailer trash to fill their stadium. This sports is about entertainment. Miami attracted alot of fans because they used to entertain and not just winning, the way we played, the hard work the toughness. Diaz is not bringing that back.

The fundamental difference between UF fans staying home, and people seeing it and Miami fans staying home is that we are all used to Miami fans staying home. When fans that show up year after year start bailing, that's a scathing indictment of how bad the product is. That's why the powers that be don't give a ****. Even when they were putting a historically good product on the field, in most cases, the stadium was half full, unless it was a big game.

Congrats, you are one of the few non alumni putting in the work of traveling. Unfortunately, you are an exception to the rule, our fans have shown time and time again that they will do the bare minimum. This is why when this banner crap comes up, I just shake my head, because it's utterly pointless. It's just performative, you'd be better served getting a huge protest going outside of Hecht, and making the lives of people like Lemonis a living **** through constant social media usage. Unfortunately, our fanbase lacks the kind of insight to think strategically. They just want to look cool for the 30 minutes that banner flies around, while also torching the program. That's the ironic part, by doing this look at me crap, you are making the job of the person that comes next even more difficult, because guess what? Any recruiter worth a **** can point to this. Fans staying home because coach was trash? It's a sign that the administration was justified in firing the dude. Fans torching program like Miami fans do? Just shows that it's a mercenary fanbase, why deal with that when you can play at a place where the fans, even when times are bad aren't going to make a mockery of your work?

I didn't want Manny hired, in fact I felt that Blake James even suggesting the guy without making a single phone call should have been grounds for firing on the spot. That said, I understand that this farm won't produce any crops if we keep torching the fields every chance we get.

The banner campaigns are serious business here. The Maude’s have been working on some ideas for the banner contingent here and we think something like this will make each of you see the hard truth.

@NicKane is the guy in high school with nothing going for him but still thinks he should be pulling grade A ***. Fire Manny in the middle of the year? For who, realistically? University of Miami is barely a class B coaching destination. This would be a waste of a good group of improving, young UM people have been screaming for, wins and time wasted not looking for the real answer. Stop acting like a scorned Gator Fan whose trailer just blew up.
