Who’s gonna step up and fly the banner rightfully calling for the firing of the two nincompoops leading this program into **** in Flake and Manure?

I would accept, but the problem is nobody in the committee will be on my level of seriousness, except maybe @NicKane. Then poor @NicKane and I would just get frustrated and upset with everyone else. And since everyone knows banner people are the toughest guys on the planet, it'll just end up turning into vicious fist fights at every meeting. Nobody will get hurt, of course, we're too tough to hurt. But those fights will probably last hours, and who really has time for that?

Really? My (literal) YEARS of ripping Beta Blake and Julio don't get me in the room with you? My man, I've been doing this for decades. I had a picture of Drunken Dennis from the 1990 Sugar Bowl pre-game where I had some of the earliest documented evidence of his alcoholism. I wrote an article in the early 90s slamming Dave Maggard for destroying multiple men's sports programs due to "Title IX" issues. I have long criticized Dee and the Shermanator and Beta Blake (regardless of him being the fifth and final AD to have at least a hand in the IPF construction).

I may not be sending all of the screenshots to the Hecht as you do, but I'm three decades into my both my silent and vocal protests against incompetence at the Hecht.

Fundamental difference between our life and death struggle in this country and a bunch of idiots flying a useless banner, because they are mad about a football coach being subpar. Even then, there has always been a debate in the civil rights community about which protests work and which doesn't.

You know WHY the Montgomery Bus Boycott worked? They lost a ton of money because we made up a huge percentage of bus riders. Amazing how economic coercion makes people act right. Frankly, the stadium being empty at the end of the Clemson game did more to get Golden fired than the yahoos scraping together a couple bucks for a banner. When the people that have donated, bought tickets for decades start declining to re-up, that's when change happens.

I'm not donating another dime to this athletic department until I see changes, I'm upping my financial support to the academic side instead. When they ask why I'm not donating to the HC, they will be told why.
You will never know what impact any form a protest made. Telling people its ok to do this but not ok to do that is nothing i will ever cosign to. Yeah the Golden last games were empty, do you know what impact the banners had on that? No. Let people vent their frustration the way they feel as long as its legal and not threatening anyones safety.

Btw we should be aslo calling for football people to make football decisions. Remember Diaz and Blake overrode the hiring of Alonzo Highsmith. And before any coach is hired, we need someone in a CEO position who is a football person. The BOT and AD have shown they are indeed clowns. Hiring 2 rookie HCs, 1 non power 5 HC with little experience and a coach who was on vacay after burnout.

I apologize for the oversight. You would definitely have a place in that committee of serious men. Though it may honestly just make it that much more likely to result in violence and potential incarceration. For even the law itself must yield or else buckle when men of courage and conviction are fixed upon a righteous task.

I've been incarcerated for my Canes (1988, Baton Rouge). I'm ready to serve.

I was thinking about this. I think Diaz is the wrong person for the job. I think he has had enough time to not win, but to show signs of improvements, i see regression. But in getting rid of him they may hire another Diaz. So i was thinking, shouldn't the banners be about putting in a football CEO to do the hirings, football people making football decisions. Diaz was able to override the idea of bringing in Highsmith. He has fallen flat on his face. A Banner calling for a football CEO may galvanize more support, don't you think? They already entertained the idea. Evaluate Diaz and move from there.

Yeah I think you the type that instead of being mad a racists, u go around saying, oh im against racism, i just wish these people could protest in a different way aka nicer way. You wanna give people things to do that is unlikely to happen, and that eventually keeps Diaz around. Pin that.

I wanna see the ball gaggers again telling us not to fly the banner, while they chat crap and do nothing. Banner needs to fly like the wicked of the west
