agree with this. like, the offense coaches put together for lowly ga tech stopped working midway through the 2nd quarter. it took an amazing individual effort by b. smith and then a scramble by jacurri to get it back on track in the 4th quarter. if we try the same thing against clemson it's gonna be a disaster. my expectations are pretty low, as all i wanna see is a plan that gives us a chance to score touchdowns taking into account all the limitations we have on offense right now. i truly hope that isn't asking for too much. yesterday, the kids proved they haven't given up. win or lose on saturday i hope that we perform in a way that builds upon last week and doesn't bring to mind fsu/mtsu/duke.If we don't push the ball down the field, Clemson is going to destroy everything within 5 yards of the LOS. High school football doesn't beat Clemson. As for slowing the game down, it won't matter if we're going three and out 75% of the time.
Our D is going to have to play WAY over their heads to keep us in it, or we're looking at a drubbing.
Not disagreeing at all. I’m just not sure I see them taking that kind of approach. If we don't push the ball down the field, Clemson is going to destroy everything within 5 yards of the LOS. This.???
Its gonna be the same offense we just saw.
1. Brown designed runs
2. Bubble Screens which will not work against Clemson DBs (I expect a pick six here)
3. Runs up the middle which will not work
4. Probably like 6 or 7 called downfield passes which will turn into Brown scrambling and running bc he has .5 seconds to read the field and the routes take 6 seconds to develop
Our players were fired up for the GT game bc they saw that Brown was keeping them in it and they had a legit chance to compete and win.
Against Clemson, the team will fold and stop trying bc they understand the futility.
This is a write-off.
I'm excited to see how they bounce back for Pitt.
It’s gonna be thisMario knows he’s not winning this game. The objective will be to run the clock as fast as possible and slow the game down to prevent another blowout on tv.
Everyone should already know this.
