If I gotta hear one more fake *** UFag insider talk about "not accepting commitments" I'm going to throw the **** up.

Clearly that's their #1 recruiting excuse.

Well to be fair(which I could really give a flying flip about the jorts) with them it's "not accepting their commitment" when they miss on a kid, with FSU it's "he didn't have a commitable offer" when they miss & with us it's "he didn't have the grades" or "$EC". It is what it is without coaches being able to comment publicly .

Don't get me wrong, I blast our guys for pulling the same ****.

Just give me a ******* break. They keep talking about these guys they turn down but yet, according to the same wannabes, they accepted Moten even though they didn't really want him. Seems legit.

Our coaches have been very high on Harris for a while now, it seems. Isn't that all that matters? Hope he commits to us quickly, and starts growing close to the other guys in the class, especially the other DL verbals, so we lock them all down. Class is looking amazing!

Florida: “It’s always been my favorite school and all of the coaches are down-to-earth. It’s a great school for education and it’s not too far from home.”

Miami: “It’s a beautiful campus and the coaching staff, they’re really funny but at the same time, very energetic and very serious about football and winning. They have a great strength program to get the players in shape and get me where I need to be , and the school is great for education, as well.”

Ohio State: “Of course they have Coach Urban Meyer there, and Ohio State has a great tradition. Plus Mike Vrabel is the position coach and he’s just out of the NFL and he can teach me the things I need to know to get there, too.”

Winter Park defensive end Trent Harris has narrowed his list of 22 college football scholarship offers to three finalists with Florida, Miami and Ohio State still in the hunt.
The 6-foot-2, 231-pound Harris will announce his decision Monday at noon via The Orlando Sentinel’s live YouTube web stream via this link.
Like most college football prospects, Harris said the most difficult part of narrowing his list was calling those coaches from the schools that did not make the cut. Among the other schools offering Harris were Florida State, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and Boston College, to which teammate WR Gabe McClary committed earlier this summer.
“Oh man, it was extremely difficult,” Harris said of narrowing the list, “and calling the other coaches and letting them know, that was the hardest part. I just wanted to thank every coach that gave me the opportunity to come play at their school, and let them know I appreciated it.
“I only made a few calls to the coaches who kept in touch with me the most, and I just had to tell them all, ‘Thank.’ ”
Harris, the No. 5-ranked player in the Sentinel's 2014 Central Florida Super60and the No. 51 player in the Sentinel's 2014 Florida Top 100, talked about each of his three finalists:
It’s been a bit of a trying process for Harris, who said his main support for his decision-making came from former Winter Park assistant coach Sinclair Brown.
“He helped me through the whole recruiting process and making the right decision. I was in contact with him a lot in the end through my mom,” Harris said. “I also have gotten a lot of support from Coach [Ben] St. Clair [defensive line], Coach [Craig] Russell [linebackers] and coach [Tim] Shifflet [head coach], and, of course, my mom and dad.”
As a junior at Winter Park, Harris had 50 tackles and 11 sacks from his defensive end position.

feels like his ohio state and miami quotes are more "long-term" however, who knows we these kids.

We will probably get this kid if uf hasn't changed there mind about taking him. OSU is probably a non factor being that he narrowed his final schools to Miami & Florida before this article.

been doing some lurking and it seems that most Ohio St guys are conceding him to The Mighty University of Miami Hurricanes.

  • On FLORIDA : says he was born a Gator fan and it’s been his dream to go there as long as he can remember...says that pumps them up and he loves the buildings on campus...says they provide a great education and their defensive line coach (Coach Lawing) knows what he’s talking about...says Lawing has been doing it a long time and he understands what it takes
  • On MIAMI : says the staff is so energetic and funny but you can tell they’re very serious about winning at the same time
  • On OHIO STATE : says he's always been a big Urban Meyer fan so it would be amazing to play for him now. I love how it is up there and he could see myself living in Columbus
