What point are you making exactly? Did I say Shaq was dog****? He was the 44th pick in the 4th round sorry i didn't account for compensation picks but their are only 32 teams.

I’m trying to say that a kid who gives his life for this program for 4 years and has the talent/production to be a 4th round pick and stick in the NFL for several years is a pretty good player and deserves respect from our fans.

He wasn’t Vilma, not many are. But he was a lot closer to Vilma than he was to Flagg.

Flagg 5 '11 Shaq 6'
Flagg probably 4.9 Shaq 4.74
What lies were told?
4.7 and 4.9 is night and day difference by itself. One was an All Acc Lb and very highly respected around Cfb. A four year starter who was a really good college player. One of the most instinctual players ever at Miami. He just wasn’t a Dan Morgan , Vilma or Ray type athlete so you **** on him as a player. You literally put him and Flagg in the same sentence. Some of y’all say stupid *** **** in passing because most people just ignore it at this point.

Some **** just needs called out once the idiocy hits a certain point.

I don't know where I trashed Shaq but if that was your interpretation you missed my point. Shaq was a good LB I don't want another good LB I want a great LB.

See above post.

I remember posting “ y’all gonna miss him when he’s gone”. That guy cleaned up so much bs that nobody even noticed. There would’ve been multiple big plays a game that he put perfume over. We saw what happened the year after he left. Dude was a really good college mike.

There were quite a few people literally celebrating when he finally left and graduated. I felt exactly the same way you did.

I want a great everything but you realize if we had 85 4th round picks we’d win every game by 50 points. I’d take Shaq on this team in a heartbeat. He’d make us massively better.

No video of yesterday's interviews. Looks like they fell down on the job.....
Caneallaccess has been slipping this year, late with interview uploads and such..

footballville did stream the interviews live on his yt channel, if you want to hear the coach/players words from their mouth

Well of course they did..You dont know?..we had the great BJ Jennings behind him and Shaq was holding him back from realizing his true greatness the entire time, sir. Shouldnt have to spell this out for you.

Like I said some people want another Shaq some people want another Vilma(me).

I think some folks are overreacting to last weeks game defensively. There was a bunch of gap integrity breakdowns, losing contain on scrambles / cutbacks.

There was also issues in the secondary, Ivey taking the awful angle on the drag route allowed a first down. There’s no way a mesh concept gets a third and 23. You give up a catch in front of the coverage and make the tackle. Not only did he take a bad angle , trip over his feet he took out another defender trying to make a play. I know it’s cliche to pick on 8 but at this point the staff is at fault if they keep throwing him out there , especially if this trend continues. He’s not starting himself.
How do these coaches watch film and still start him!?

I’m not exaggerating, people were literally celebrating and couldn’t wait for Shaq to be off the team like we had Ray Lewis and Vilma waiting in the wings.

Oh yeah; and u’ll see me agreeing. There was an original offer thread, as well, where myself @nycane @Dwinstitles among a handful of others were not in love.

I questioned Flagg, Holley, Dykstra (and got killed on Dykstra, lol). I also semi ?’d Garcia, only b/c of his LB Poly stint, & Narbonne. But I stated him going to GA playing at Grayson & that dedication may have been for the best both competition & maturity wise.

Flagg is more of a G5 product, lower tier P5 player.
I don’t want to pile on Flagg as everything has already been said

And I shouldn’t bother piling on Manny…but I’m gonna

What’s wild about Flaggs recruitment is how much of a priority Manny made him. I’m not against filling out the roster if you have to with some kids that are limited but can play ball, but Manny seemed to be looking at this kid going “there’s the one right there”

🤦🏼‍♂️
